To report this ASDA worker?

Asda are supposed to be rationing (x3 of one thing per shop) guy behind us buying 6 crates of beer - she says, that's ok I'll just put it through as two separate shops.

Then, she checks how many baby formulas I have (x1) She then says "I've bought loads, I give it to my elderly mother in porridge and coffee because she's vulnerable"

I said, well I have two vulnerable parents and in-laws but I'm not giving them baby formula, it's for babies?? She then said "well I won't begrudge someone buying 6 tins per shop if want it. Their parents could need it too"

I could see her letting people buy whatever they want as long as they put it through as a separate shop (pay twice) but was arsey with me for buying formula for my 5 month old who was with me!

I'm probably being OTT but yesterday we couldn't find milk anywhere after about 8 different shops and I got really scared, I just think she's being irresponsible.

She's really pissed me off. I want to report her but I think that's just because I'm really anxious.

She's an idiot.
Powdered milk, ff milk, cream, or meal replacement products for adults, are more than sufficient for adults who need to put on weight.
Horlicks is very, very good too.
Formula is catered to the nutritional needs of babies and infants, obviously, not the elderly with differing nutritional needs.

I think stores should come up with a list of essentials that can only be bought two or three at a time and the rest should be unlimited (and they should have started it a week ago). I saw a young woman in ASDA yesterday 15 mins before it was due to close in tears because the assistant wouldn't let her buy one extra pot noodle and one extra tin of beans. It wasn't like she was depriving anyone because the store was about to close for restocking. I offered to put it through with mine but I wasn't allowed. I know the rules are important but it must be so hard for larger families especially in an area that is quite deprived.

Not bothered about beer but I would be really pissed off about the formula. I can’t believe the number of posters criticising the op! Are they not aware of the number of people desperately looking for formula for their baby, or does it not matter if the baby starves?? Totally on your side op.
The issue about restricting some products is actually laughable in some cases! Toilet rolls, if you can find them, are restricted in most shops to 2 packets. So you can’t buy 3 packs of 4 toilet rolls, but you can buy 2 packs of 24! Surely the actual amount in total should be more important than the number of packs!

I'd report due to the baby milk comment as parents desperately need this for their babies, I wonder if she is doing it are others taking it and selling online for profit?
