Yep, it really annoys me too.

The other advert that I hate is the one with terrified vegetables being dropped into boiling water or chopped to bits in a blender. It's supposed to make children eat veg but I think it is more likely to put them off and give them nightmares.

I think those vegetable adverts are counterproductive in another way - they reinforce the idea that Vegetables Are The Enemy, thus telling children that it is normal to hate them all. And children like being the same as everybody else, so would be more likely to refuse them - all it needs is for one gobby princess vegetable hater to announce that they're disgusting for an entire class of children to suddenly discover that they hate everything that isn't coated in breadcrumbs (the original child having learned that from their parents anyhow).

Anyhow, of course it's fucking milk. Back in the days before lactose intolerance and with small kids and an OH who drank loads of milkshakes, it was milk that stayed a bit fresher for longer than the standard 4 pinters and tasted a bit 'cleaner' in tea, but it was still fucking milk.

I don't understand what message Cravendale are trying to put across with that advert. It seems counter productive to me. I've bought Cravendale for years and several people have asked why I chose that over 'proper milk'. Some people seem to think Cravendale is like UHT milk. This advert reinforces that. Seems daft to me.

See I’m torn on the vegetable one

Surely most kids will be wailing that they don’t want “to eat Kevin the carrot”
