Anyway, he has a picture of his mum above our bed. We’ve been living together for 4 years now, and it makes me really uncomfortable 😂
I adore MIL, she’s a lovely lady and we have a fantastic relationship, it just makes me feel uneasy when we are ‘doing stuff’ that I can see a picture of her looking at me.
It’s a lovely photo, would love to have it in our lounge or kitchen...

AIBU to suggest to DP that maybe we could relocate MIL? Want to raise the issue but not cause offense 😬

Maybe don't tell him. Maybe initiate sex. But make sure he is the right end of the bed to have perfect view of his mother while shagging you 😂😂

Just want to add it’s not the only thing above our bed as that makes us sound weird as fuck. There are book shelves and other bits. Just MIL peeking at me from behind stuff makes me feel awkard

I would suggest to move her to the living room as it’s more appropriate place. Why confide her to the bedroom? Imagine you all are sitting together in the evening watching TV and she’s with you. Much better than you’re shagging at midnight and she’s with you.

I also had an image in my head of a big picture rather like the paintings in stately homes lol.
