To enjoy smoking?

I've been trying to quit for a while and I have come to the realisation that I actually just enjoy smoking a lot. It gives me a break from the chaos. Anyone else felt the same way?

This will get deleted, there was a thread like this a while ago and it was zapped

I quit 4 weeks ago and still want a cig

I enjoy smoking. Nothing to do with the nicotine. I like the naughtiness and the slightly anti social nature.
However my intake has crept up from maybe five follies on a Friday night to 15 over a week. So I think I need to cut back.
I don’t think the government phasing out small packets helped actually. I would rather pay more for less tobacco and smoke fewer. As it is I get through a packet quicker as I feel a I have so much,

I loved it too, it felt subversive and was a little space just for me.
But I’m glad I’ve stopped.
The turning point was being told my radiotherapy treatment for breast cancer wouldn’t be as effective and I should quit for its duration.
I did, and haven’t smoked since, now 4 years cigarette free.
But every day I catch myself thinking, oh I really fancy a cigarette.

I wish I’d never started but I love it and I never want to stop.

It’ll kill me.
