A home made birthday cake complete with ashtray and spliff?

coffeeforone · 06/03/2020 19:51

You have to tell us what it is?!?

Some places have a 'clear desk policy' that is strictly enforced. The whole lot goes in the bin at the end of the day!!

donquixotedelamancha · 06/03/2020 19:51

It's hard life on MN, if you want to get on trending you have to give us a little treat to keep us sweet.

I would suggest that if one were new to MN and wished to get on trending, a vague OP and updates without any info, would be a good way to do it.

A tiny Eiffel tower made out of toenail clippings?

Catting · 06/03/2020 19:53

It's a paper item....OP said "You’d take a postcode off a colleagues desk, rip it up and bin it".
Not post card, or photo (these were examples, she's not saying what it actually is) so I'm thinking it has to be card, as it was personal, and given to her.
Won't be a 'with sympathy' card, that's too mean. But a showing off sort of card, massive valentines one etc.....that could piss someone off.

This thread is like one of those annoying, attention seeking Facebook posts.

HappyHammy · 06/03/2020 19:56

Whatever it was, no no-one has the right to bin your property.

YABU and ridiculously vague for no reason. What’s the point of starting a thread when you’re not going to give us any info or context?

TitianaTitsling · 06/03/2020 20:06

TitianaTitsling · 06/03/2020 20:06

LivingTheThighLife · 06/03/2020 20:08

@TitianaTitsling to be fair that doll wouldn’t stay binned - it would just climb right out Grin

cabingirl · 06/03/2020 20:10

Did you take it out of the bin?
Do you suspect that it wasn't really thrown away but they stole it?
