Aibu to be excited about my bath?

Bathroom being redone after a horrid leak in January. We have a lovely plumber and carpenter on the case.

The bathroom is currently just a bare brick room with a loo in the corner!! We have no other bathrooms in the house so we're showering at other people's place and washing hands and faces (and sometimes hair) in the kitchen...

THE BATH ARRIVED TODAY!

It's big and lovely and in the garage but I'm vvv excited.

I've never had a special bath before so this is such a treat... I can't wait for it all to be finished!

Where is your soaking tub from? Bath doesn't describe it's loveliness

It's an Omnitub. I was going to get the Solo, but decided to go for the Duo in a rare moment of madness!

Am deeply envious, only have a shower and miss having a bath so much

ZoeandChandon marble-effect cladding (aka panels) on two walls. The other two walls will have wallpaper on. I'll see if I can find the pattern.

Not allowed to get into it while the sealant sets, but here is my foot, thrust into it for a very poor sense of scale:

I've just bought an omnitub and it's being fitted at the moment; got the Solo Plus. Sooo looking forward to my first deep soak

We had our bathroom done end of last year and put a small but perfectly formed bath back in. We moved here & there was only a shower.. tbh had my dh not promised to put a bath in it would have been a deal breaker.. ha ha he only made me wait 3 years. Worth the wait.. get your posh bath stuff ready op and enjoy every relaxing moment

TARSCOUT Mostly for the depth, and other deep baths were often clawfooted jobs that would have made our small bathroom harder to move around in.

Now to find a way to photograph myself in the bath to show scale whilst staying anonymous. Suggestions?
