To ask for a handhold?

Hello all,

GoJetterBoy after 2 years of fighting has finally lost the energy to fight, I’m currently sat with him in hospital, having come in a few days earlier for pain management.

I really need a handhold right now...

I so very rarely post - but I wanted to join the chorus of people thinking of you and your special little boy xx

You both sound wonderful and I am sending virtual hugs to you both. Hand holding for as long as you need.

He sounds like a wonderful special little boy and what a wonderful mum you are. Hold his hand, smile, remember his mischievous times. I agree I think some souls are just to precious for earth. Take one second at a time.

He and you, are surrounded by love and hands holding you up. Treasure your wonderful memories.

Fill him with love and let him float onwards.

Handhold for both of you. My grandson is nearly 7 and likes robots, how things work books, baking fairy cakes, iPad games, kids tv, marvel superheroes and any kind of model car. What are your boy's favourites? xxx

OP I'm so so sorry. This is something no one should go through.

My heart goes out to you and your son. He is still in there and will be hearing everything you say. The sound of your voice will comfort him all the way. I work with end of life care. The thing that shines through always is the love between the one passing and the ones staying. His memories of you are just as strong as your memories of him. They will keep him strong and calm all the way through.
