Hello all,

GoJetterBoy after 2 years of fighting has finally lost the energy to fight, I’m currently sat with him in hospital, having come in a few days earlier for pain management.

I really need a handhold right now...

I'm so very sorry. I lost my beautiful son to cancer 6 years ago on Wednesday. I'm reliving his last few days. My son was 18 and tried to look after me too. He knew it was the end but kept up the hope for me or him I don't know. The last thing he said to me on the Tuesday was 'i will go to university mum.' Of course you will my darling I replied. He died the next day.

Life is very cruel. The young and innocent shouldn't be taken from us like this. And the children taken from us are so unbelievably strong and full of grace facing their own death.

Crying with you, for your boy, for mine, for all parents facing such crushing sadness.

I'm sure your precious son will know he is surrounded by love. At the end that's all you can do.

Love and strength to you as you face such heartbreaking times. Xxx
