What 'adult' thing have you never done?

I have reached the grand old age of 53 and have never booked a holiday abroad. I wouldn't even know where to start! and I fancy a holiday but don't know how to do it Holidays have always been in the UK, camping when the DC were young and caravanning for the last 12 years. My last foreign trip was when I was 19 and DM booked it. I just had to give her the money for it.

I would not buy anything online with a debit card! It's too unsafe.

In what way is it unsafe? Shop on reputable sites only, I use paypal if it's an option, I fail to see how using a debit card (with Visa chargeback protection which I've made use of.once before with no problems) is riskier than using a credit card.

I've never asked for people to move down on the tube to make space for me to get on.

Never cooked faggots

Never been to the Lake District ( aim to rectify this.)
Haven’t used a microwave for over twenty years.

Never drunk absinthe.

Threesomes are sexual preference

Being unfaithful is in fact not behaving like an adult...a grown adult would surely end it rather than cheat

I’ve never bought a house. I moved in with dp, now dh, who already had a house and was simply added to the mortgage so I’ve never been looking at houses and chosen one.

Never changed a nappy. Have shovelled a ton of horse shit and am currently volunteering at a dog shelter so hosing more shit but the thought of a nappy....ugh.

Got a driving license! I had over 100 lessons but can’t pick it up. Struggle massively with many practical tasks even as an adult (getting my son dressed, tying shoelaces, opening jars, handwriting all take a massive amount of effort and concentration for me)

I've never mowed the lawn, cut the hedge or done any gardening.
I've never changed a tyre or even put water in the car. I've never paid my own car tax or booked a car service.....
DH looks after everything to do with the car and garden, thank God, cos I wouldn't know where to start

Here in Ireland there is no consumer credit (section 75) act so using a debit card or credit card is all the same...NO extra protection using a credit card!🤷‍♀️

Always feel I have missed out. My student days were spent working in supermarkets rather than pubs.
