Me and DD2 are going to Corfu for a fortnight in July.
I did a city break (Barcelona) with dd1 in November, so hoping to do another later in the year.

PinkiOcelot · 23/02/2020 20:24

We did 3 cities in Italy this time last year. Absolutely loved it.

Going back to Alvor in Portugal in June! Booked it as a surprise for my husbands birthday. Alvor is our favourite place 💖

Four weeks in Turkey. A few days in Istanbul then down to Ephesus to see the ancient city. Then an old wooden boat trip for a week down the coast. Then back on land To stay with Turkish friends on a peninsula without tourists. Then a flight to central Turkey to an area I’ve always wanted to visit with incredible rock formations and gorges. Six of us, four kids.

First ever British holiday to Devon this year. We usually go abroad but my lot all get travel sickness on planes and I can't be arsed with another year of dealing with vomit, plus 3 people out of it for the first day of our holiday so a drive down to lovely Devon it is.

SimonJT · 23/02/2020 20:44

I’m going to Sitges in Spain with my on and boyfriend in mid July, then we are off to Ottawa in August for the Bingham Cup. I’m most excited about Ottawa, just wish I was playing in the cup this year.

HeyMicky · 23/02/2020 20:45

Long weekend in Marrakesh in March with a friend (companion vouchers so cheap)
Surprise birthday trip for a weekend with DH, also in march
IoW in May half term with DDs and DH
2 weeks in Portugal in August with DDs, DH and DM - will probably work remotely 2 days each week
Long weekends in Florence and Paris with DM

More than usual due to 40th and DM visiting from abroad over summer

French holiday park--booked a 3 bed chalet (I need my own room as DH snores). Near the beach, fabulous pool on site.

Also going to Billund in Denmark for a week, staying at Lalandia and going to Lego House and Legoland 😁

We're going camping in France for 2 weeks. Back to the same campsite we've been going to for past 3 years.

It's big enough for there to be plenty going on, small enough to allow the children some real freedom. They make loads of friends, we eat loads of cheese and drink too much local wine.

Really lovely beach nearby.

I can't wait 😊

Celeriacacaca · 23/02/2020 20:51

@Bluewavescrashing sounds fab - I'm the same. Need an escape room from snoring. Where in France are you going?

We're off to Italy in July - Naples, Amalfi Coast and then Ischia over a fortnight. Can't wait!

Bluewavescrashing · 23/02/2020 20:56

Vendee coast. Weather is usually good, mid 20s temperatures. Hypermarket, hiring bikes, lunch out- can't wait!

Rocketpants50 · 23/02/2020 21:00

Trying not to fly, driving to France camping 4 weeks. After a wet, cold, windy half term I am thinking a tent in the sun will be lovely! (I might think differently by the end!)

Turquoisetamborine · 23/02/2020 21:02

We are having 8 nights in Vilamoura at May half term.

Then the second week of the summer hols we go away to a luxury house in S Yorks. with my two cousins with hot tub etc. A treat from her terminally ill husband and something for her to look forward to.

Subeccoo · 23/02/2020 21:03

-May half term with family in the south west of France near bordeaux.
-3 weeks in Thailand with ds 15 in July /August.
-Last week of August in Ireland.

AlexaAmbidextra · 23/02/2020 21:11

I rarely do abroad these days. I’ve seem most of what I want to see and can’t be bothered with the hassle of travel anymore. So, I am going to the most fabulously beautiful hotel in Cornwall for a week in June. It’s amazing, I love it and it costs me as much as a fortnight in somewhere exotic. But I don’t care as it’s my happy place.
