To think the male American Airlines passenger punching the reclined seat should be charged with assault if legally possible.

I have watched the video of the man continually punching the seat occupied by Wendi Williams who had positioned it to recline. I am totally appalled that she was not given assistance when she drew the flight attendants attention to her predicament. This mans behaviour was totally unacceptable. I find it hard to fathom his behaviour and really feel a bit disturbed by it. I don't think he would have acted this way had it been a man in front... Am I being unfair in thinking this?

@annamie you're clearly watching a different film clip to a lot of us! There was no punching or mild punching in the clip, so OP couldn't have seen it.

annamie · 25/02/2020 19:53

@Bikerider2020 well I’ve just re-watched the clip and he is repeatedly hitting the seat in front with his hand or fist. You can call it hitting or punching, it’s just semantics. Either way, he was a cunt.

Bikerider2020 · 25/02/2020 19:58

@annamie bit strong! He's done nothing wrong....

I doubt her court case will go far, even the airline agreed he was not in the wrong.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 26/02/2020 08:57

No he really is a cunt.

annamie
Your very vocal on how out of order he was whats your thoughts on her who caused all this
could of stopped it by being considerate
smirking like a twat to the camera
wanted as much room as possible knowing full well how the person behind would of suffer
him being trapped with seat inches away from his face I personally who of felt claustrophobic and a bit panicy.
and how would you feel if you were in his position
