Just that really.

Somewhat disappointed! I was almost buying in to the Armageddon hypothesis and almost joined the stock-pilers!

OP posts:
NoSauce · 21/02/2020 19:26

Bless.

PinkSparkleUnicorns · 21/02/2020 19:27

I wonder if the OP is coming back?

ZenNudist · 21/02/2020 19:28

Surely you are not this thick.

SnoozyLou · 21/02/2020 19:28

We're still in the transitional period. I wouldn't get too cocky.

Notanotherflightdelay · 21/02/2020 19:29

We havent really left yet- it is currently status quo- we have moved into the transition.

ThatUserNamesTakenTryAnother · 21/02/2020 19:33

Confused r the papers and watch the TV.... Soak it in.
Your speaking too soon.....

TooTrueToBeGood · 21/02/2020 19:34

I wonder if the OP is coming back?

You didn't expect her to remain, did you?

ThatUserNamesTakenTryAnother · 21/02/2020 19:35

Basically I feel, people have possibly voted for brexit and know fuck all about what they have voted for.... The OP proves this...

Moomin12345 · 21/02/2020 19:35

Ah. Brexiters and their profound insights. I would say something about the transition period, but I'd be wasting my breath.

ThatUserNamesTakenTryAnother · 21/02/2020 19:36

TooTrue 🤣 very good

endofthelinefinally · 21/02/2020 19:37

Gosh. No words really.
I do hope all the European doctors and nurses who look after me atm are allowed to stay here. I am stuffed otherwise.

user1480880826 · 21/02/2020 19:37

We’re in a transition period. Nothing has changed yet.

Rockbird · 21/02/2020 19:38

Of course it's changed. There's a shortage of bloody Maltesers in my area. I totally blame Brexit. Honestly. 🙄

WhereDidMyEyebrowsGo · 21/02/2020 19:39

What everybody else said. We're in the transition period so no change yet.

Congratulations on pointing out how utterly stupid and ill informed you are though.

nicslackey · 21/02/2020 19:40

Nope. Not biting

Livelovebehappy · 21/02/2020 19:45

To be fair to the OP, the way some Remainers were ranting in the run up to jan 31st, you would have thought that the sky was going to cave in on 1st Feb. Clueless people on both sides.

MintyMabel · 21/02/2020 19:49

Sigh.

We haven’t left, except in name. If you don’t understand that you shouldn’t be allowed to vote.

The80sweregreat · 21/02/2020 19:49

To be fair to remainers and leavers , we haven't actually left properly yet!
It's just a kind of limbo situation that is sort of drifting towards the iceberg. We have to hope people know how to steer.
The news has sort of gone into drip feed mode with just bits and pieces being broadcast amongst the other bad news.

MintyMabel · 21/02/2020 19:50

Remainers were ranting in the run up to jan 31st, you would have thought that the sky was going to cave in on 1st Feb

Didn’t hear a single remainer saying this. Because we understood there was no immediate change.

HenHarrier · 21/02/2020 19:52

Oh, OP is either a name changer or a sparkly new poster.

Is CCHQ getting a bit desperate on the spin front?

ExohExohGossipgirl · 21/02/2020 19:55

Saw loads of the OP type person at Dublin airport the other night - almost begging to go in the 'non EU' queue stating that they are 'no longer in Europe'. I was slightly disapointed myself actually as a queue without british people would have been wayyyyyyyyy quicker yet Dublin airport has one lane for non EU and another for Eu AND UK. It will stay this way until the end of the year just fyi OP.

HollowTalk · 21/02/2020 19:59

I didn't hear a remainer say that, either.

BurneyFanny · 21/02/2020 20:02

Well I’ve lost my right to vote anywhere in the world. So there’s that.

LittleRootie · 21/02/2020 20:07

Come back in 314 days and try again.

JudyCoolibar · 21/02/2020 20:18

But I thought once we left we'd be in a land of milk and honey, the NHS would have money to burn, waiting times for treatment would be a thing of the past, ,we'd have fantastic trade deals with the US, and we'd have zero unemployment. What happened to all that?
