I don’t want to ‘fix a crown’

Just that really

I don’t see the point in attacking someone on line.

I really don’t.

Surely we should just think before we post stuff.

Would we find it hurtful? If so. Don’t post.

OP posts:
JaneJeffer · 20/02/2020 23:23

Are you a dentist?

PurpleDaisies · 20/02/2020 23:24

Is this about teeth?

vodkaredbullgirl · 20/02/2020 23:25

Is that post about someone using superglue for a crown?

Not the tooth kind lol

Lockheart · 20/02/2020 23:25

Then don't?

CyberNan · 20/02/2020 23:25

or just royalty..?

Jozen · 20/02/2020 23:25

Odd title for the content of your OP.
I thought this it would be dental related Grin

ShakespearesSisters · 20/02/2020 23:26

Loads of FB friends have been doing this or tagged in it. I've not been tagged once. I'm not sure whether to be hurt they haven't thought of me or relieved I don't have to feel some kind of guilt over not wanting to do it.

anotherlittlechicken · 20/02/2020 23:26

@Singlebutmarried What the hell are you on about? Confused

Troels · 20/02/2020 23:27

Oh god I've had a ton of this on facebook. I know I'm tagged in it all, I've been scrolling straight past. It's like those old chain letters people used to send. I thre them out too.

Ponoka7 · 20/02/2020 23:29

To don't seem to understand what 'fix a crown means'. It's about women supporting each other and calling out bullying, especially misogynistic pull downs.

GladAllOver · 20/02/2020 23:30

What the fuck is this about?

DailyKegelReminder · 20/02/2020 23:31

It makes me wanna knock the crown off. I joke.

I feel you OP. I've been tagged numerous of times and just ignored it.

GladAllOver · 20/02/2020 23:32

So it's more Facebook madness?

vodkaredbullgirl · 20/02/2020 23:32

Ok im lost now

EmmiJay · 20/02/2020 23:32

Its pissing me off. knocks off all the crowns

Tillygetsit · 20/02/2020 23:36

I'm so glad other people are sick of it. I'm with you OP. No crown fixing here.

RiftGibbon · 20/02/2020 23:36

Somehow posting a selfie and having people telling you that you look great (Hun) will stop people committing suicide - that seems to be the gist, parcelled as "be kind".

I don't do selfies and if I am "being kind" I don't feel the need to plaster it all over social media.

shinyredbus · 20/02/2020 23:41

Wtf? I don’t get it. Like a crown in your teeth?

NewYearNewTwatName · 20/02/2020 23:43

oh I thought this was about Bob Mortimer fixing his own crowns, I just saw him on would I lie to you on Dave.

blancheduboiss · 20/02/2020 23:45

It’s the facebook posts that are circulating where (shallow) women post a selfie of themselves, tag others to do so, and include a bullshit status about how we should be ‘fixing each others crowns’ Envy < Not envy

NewYearNewTwatName · 20/02/2020 23:47

ahh yeah thanks blancheduboiss I've only had one so far on FB.

redcarbluecar · 20/02/2020 23:51

Oh it’s annoying, and far more about getting attention on FB (via tagging/sharing) than any genuine message. Why do we need to be reminded not to be horrible to/about other people online?

redcarbluecar · 20/02/2020 23:52

@EmmiJay - lol - pick up those crowns at once!

Ponoka7 · 20/02/2020 23:52

I haven't seen the selfie one's.

blancheduboiss, is every woman that posts a selfie shallow, then?

You sum up why we need to think about what we are actually saying. One action doesn't define us. You can't tell that much about us, as women, by something like posting a selfie. I know lots of different women, income, academic achievements etc who all post selfies. I don't but I wouldn't pull someone down for doing so.

RhitaGawr · 20/02/2020 23:56

I've got a double crown, does that count?
Grin

.. Matches my double chin
