AIBU to wear black tights with open toed shoes?

Just that really.

I have a lovely new pair of open toe heels I want to wear, but it is way too cold at the moment to go bare legs or wear my toeless thin tights.

Would this be a fashion faux pas? My friend says I will look ridiculous but at least my legs will be warm and my shoes will be pretty.

It can definitely be done wrong though, but those shoes you’ve posted would look great!
