Started a new thread on the off chance () that something funny might happen in my street later. Maybe around 10pm...

Diagram below for the handful of people in the country that haven't printed it off yet...

@ 2.37 originalcatlady B went out in her pink dressing gown to move her car? You can't be serious? No-one does this unless they are completely (B)atshit crazy.

Not sure why everyone is scared of B though. Just ignore her if she starts on you?

ChoccyJules · 12/02/2020 12:54

If I was M I would be ringing the council/police non-emergency number to report a car was on my drive.

Or taking photos of the license plate and sending that with a date stamp to whoever enforces local parking rules.

Or buying a clamp...

WhatchaMaCalllit · 12/02/2020 14:02

I sense a third thread of Alphabet Street parking...

this must be brought to you by the letter C - which stands for "Can't park for peanuts"

Especially at nearly midnight! The woman is an absolute loon, she must be constantly looking out of her window to check if a more convenient space has become free.

sazzle27 · 12/02/2020 17:55

OP we need another thread/link to it!

I fear there's not enough space on this one for tonight's parking shannanigans!

Ineedanap90 · 12/02/2020 19:26

Ooo very excited for this evenings entertainment is B on late shift tonight?

TinyTimsCrutch · 12/02/2020 19:59

K is not scared of B, be like K Grin

givemebooks · 12/02/2020 21:47

And how is the street this evening :)

@originalcatlady are you ok? Don't worry us with the fact you might have disappeared or have more to do in life then update the pink dressing gown crew on B's movements? Ha!

Ineedanap90 · 12/02/2020 22:07

Is Batshit B home from work yet?

originalcatlady · 12/02/2020 22:18

It's a very boring repeat show this evening everyone. C got home first to claim "level with door" position. D in 3. Don't even need to comment on F.

Batshit B just got back and looks angrier and angrier each day. And you'd think she would have improved her parking. It's the same spot!!

New thread, new thread, new thread! I don't think any of us will every tire of checking in on alphabet street each day!

redastherose · 12/02/2020 22:52

At this rate B will spontaneously combust one evening 😂

originalcatlady · 12/02/2020 22:55

Alphabet Street...is this thread 3?! http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/amiibeingunreasonable/3821556-alphabet-street-is-this-thread-3

As long as she was angry I can go to bed happy ha.. It sounds awful but her frustration is very amusing :) let's face it we all get a little annoyed when she gets her parking space

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 12/02/2020 22:58

I just had a terrible thought.

What if none of this is true and the parking jamboree is in fact just an elaborate hoax concocted by OP, who is an online seller of fuchsia pink dressing gowns and whose previous shady business dealings have already come to the attention of and earned her official 'renegade' status in 23 European countries? Mrs B might be in on the whole charade too, earning 7.5% commission on every new boudoir robe sold to a MNer? You have to admit, it's a bit toooo convenient starting a thread with its own near-mandatory dress code for all participants Grin

I do hope that everybody is reporting this thread.... for Classics!

originalcatlady · 12/02/2020 23:00

Cant wait to see what happens with an extra car in the mix!
We have a car on the drive and one on the front. Next door has an empty drive and front. When her sons visit they back their cars up to dh's, almost touching, as he parks two inches past the party wall join. It has been suggested he moves those two inches forward therefore blocking our other car in. Remember, next door dont even own a car!

SuzieSunshine · 22/02/2020 00:27

Is there a new thread that I haven't found - can't believe it's suddenly gone dead since 15 Feb.

TeeniefaeTroon · 22/02/2020 00:38

There's another thread

SuzieSunshine · 22/02/2020 00:40

I thought there must be!! Have you got the link?

SuzieSunshine · 22/02/2020 00:41

Ignore me - it's quite clearly posted above!! Sorry & thanks!!
