Started a new thread on the off chance () that something funny might happen in my street later. Maybe around 10pm...

Diagram below for the handful of people in the country that haven't printed it off yet...

Isn't it marvellous how she's not happy, having just taken a disabled person's space?

Katinski · 10/02/2020 22:41

And isn't it marvelous that the 13yr old daughter of a neighbour now comes over to mine to check in on the happenings of 'Ramsey Street' as she calls it (accompanied by the Neighbours song)? Grin

Ineedanap90 · 10/02/2020 23:07

Honestly the brass neck of the pink gowned troublemaker. As a disabled person that move angers me... Please can someone knock on her door and tell her to get out of the disabled bay.. If you let me. Know where to go ill be happy to knock on her door and wave my badge at her to move :)

MzHz · 10/02/2020 23:07

Oh dear.

Gonna be a long week B....

AcrossthePond55 · 10/02/2020 23:29

I would soooo call the police about illegally parking in a disabled spot.

I'm in the US and it can be a HUGE fine. Where I live the fine starts at $250.00+court costs, but the fine in the City of San Francisco is $950.00 + court costs.

Jojo2wyatr · 11/02/2020 02:43

@originalcatlady, I'm a bit confused...even looking at your perfectly drawn diagrams of AS, I cannot figure out what you mean when you say that K is parked BESIDE space X...wouldn't that mean they are parked in the middle of the street then? I hate to ask you to add a teensy bit on to your map on the X end, but I can't control my curiosity any longer.Every time you've posted that someone was parked beside X, I would say to myself, "huh? What ever does she mean,? besides X?" I've been trying to ignore myself for about 2 weeks now, but it's gotten the better of me. Please, if any other MNETTERS can satisfy my curiosity I would greatly appreciate it...also, what does that little dotted box with the letters obj mean? Thanks allSmile

@Jojo2wyatr

There are two spaces the other side of X. The same as 1, 2 and 3. Call them Y and Z.

WhatchaMaCalllit · 11/02/2020 11:00

I think it's about time that the residents of AS all clubbed together (shouldn't cost more than a few pounds each as there are enough of you) to get B a driving lesson or two with particular emphasis on parallel parking. It's a shame that you would have to wait a whole year to do it as a secret santa present but I'm sure there is some neighbourhood fete coming up and she could miraculously win this prize in the spin the wheel or something. Grin Grin

Lweji · 11/02/2020 12:20

It looks like you need to improve your diagram, OP.

mrsBtheparker · 11/02/2020 12:30

I wouldn't want to contribute to B's parking lessons were I lucky enough to live on AS, but I might contribute to a personality transplant. for her.

Lweji · 11/02/2020 14:27

Doesn't B's husband drive? Couldn't he park the car for her?

NRPDad · 11/02/2020 14:33

OP, even been tempted to park a car in 1/2 before heading off on 2 week holiday?

JR0781 · 11/02/2020 15:29

Given C's position last night, I think she's a lurker on this post...

Butterymuffin · 11/02/2020 16:23

@Lweji IIRC from previous thread, Mr. B doesn't drive.

What's been happening today OP?

originalcatlady · 11/02/2020 16:39

This afternoon we appear to be in the same situation as yesterday afternoon. Mrs B will be in X/1.

Let's hope someone has visitors Grin

Jojo2wyatr · 11/02/2020 16:51

Or, Mrs. B pulls a fast one like last week and bums a ride to work with a friend instead of having the stress of coming home after 10 p.m.to find her favourite spot being occupied...I do hope all this parking anxiety isn't affecting her work, though. But, it would be her own fault for not learning to park correctly...OP has only been REPORTING on the Alpha.St, and not been an active participant as she has reminded us several times...so any issues are all on Mrs.B, thank goodness.

Jojo2wyatr · 11/02/2020 16:54

Thanks, @TeetotalKoala

MyNameHasBeenTaken · 11/02/2020 18:58

My place mark didn't work.
Who is where tonight?

originalcatlady · 11/02/2020 19:14

C is in 1/2. Lined up with B's door Grin
D is in 3.
F might as well not have a car anymore.
The K's continue to be kind/boring.

AND someone has a visitor in X/1 GrinGrinGrin

Gogolego · 11/02/2020 19:21

Out of curiosity are there any 17/18 year olds who live on your street op? Who are learning to drive and will be getting a car in the near future to add to the parking drama.

Daftapath · 11/02/2020 19:24

Has Come been out and come back and parked in the same spot or has she just left her car there?

PotterHead1985 · 11/02/2020 19:31

Oh visitor PLEASE stay past 11pm :D

MovingBriskyOn · 11/02/2020 19:37

Another one here wondering if C is a MNer.

Also thinking I need to get myself a pink dressing gown to read while I'm reading this thread (and the next one that I hope originalcat will be starting soon Wink )

originalcatlady · 11/02/2020 20:00

C has been in and out a couple of times and still winning. She did this periodically before, when B had annoyed her enough, so not a result of Mumsnet Grin

Next child to learn driving will be my DD 🤣
