Started a new thread on the off chance () that something funny might happen in my street later. Maybe around 10pm...

Diagram below for the handful of people in the country that haven't printed it off yet...

(Also if she has neighbours sitting in their cars for hours on end, looking out of one's window can hardly count as odd.)

Damn right!

Plus, they are so busy glaring at each other they wouldn't notice if we ALL sat with our noses pressed against op's window.

elessar · 01/02/2020 17:11

Oh my goodness. Having twigged from your name change you've got an unfair percentage of crazy neighbours!

Are M the poisonous pair from the other thread?

originalcatlady · 01/02/2020 17:12

X is empty for reversing allowance, and C is in 2.

This is amazing. We all have drives and extra visitor spaces. How boring. We are at a dead end though so I like to laugh at people assuming it is a dead end and getting caught.

Can you invite some visitors round? That would help amuse us longer.

originalcatlady · 01/02/2020 17:16

My friend who doesn't like to park in my drive is visiting tomorrow. Her favourite space is 2, particularly if she parks more over into 1 at the same time...

OP posts:
originalcatlady · 01/02/2020 17:21

C has gone out. B has been out to move her car into 1/2. She's spending a lot of her Saturday waiting for the perfect space.

OP posts:
mummmy2017 · 01/02/2020 17:29

Can we have a recap. Who is parked where....lol

northernlittledonkey · 01/02/2020 17:46

Can you find the rugby players from another parking thread who moved cars? Sort of on a relay and every time that B parks in spaces 1/2 then her car gets lifted and moved so she's only in 1 of them!

originalcatlady · 01/02/2020 17:52

That would be amazing. Just imagine!

Strange Cars are next to X.
X is free.
B is in 1/2.
D is in 3.
F is in 4.

C and Mr and Mrs K have no space.

OP posts:
sunshinesupermum · 01/02/2020 18:16

Is B likely to go out again do you think? Shame if not! Poor Mr and Mrs K

Arthur2shedsJackson · 01/02/2020 18:22

Does C have children? I assume so, unless she does ( in a masochistic sort of way ) do a school run just for the pleasure of trying to park near a school, thereby book-ending her morning and afternoon with parking angst. So. Where are the children while she is sitting in her car for hours on end? Are they Home Alone? Can she add neglect to her existing criminal record for speeding and no MOT?

TravellingWanabee · 01/02/2020 18:27

Sorry if this has been covered already, but why does B park across 2 spaces? Is this not part of the Lack Of Space problem?!

originalcatlady · 01/02/2020 18:46

D has now gone out and Mr K finally has a space in the street! He's in 2/3.

OP posts:
GiveHerHellFromUs · 01/02/2020 18:48

@TravellingWanabee she's incapable of parking her massive Peugeot 206

originalcatlady · 01/02/2020 18:48

C works double shifts a lot of days. It's rare she's in for school runs. Looks like she's off work at the moment. Usually, DC is at dad's, when she is doing her hour plus car sittings. When she has DC she "only" does about 30 minutes (with DC in car).

OP posts:
dwum · 01/02/2020 19:02

Amazing. I have my popcorn ready.

Jojo2wyatr · 01/02/2020 19:04

I'm new to MN...why did your name change fail, OP, and how did other postersnosey people like me know, if I may ask?

Canadianpancake · 01/02/2020 19:34

Why does C sit in her car for so long?!

TheMobileSiteMadeMeSignup · 01/02/2020 19:43

Why does C sit in her car for so long?!

End of The Archers/other radio programme?

Fairypiggy · 01/02/2020 19:55

I sit in my car on my phone when I get home sometimes before I get jumped on by kids before when I get in the house, as don’t have much phone reception at work. Wonder if my neighbours think I am weird!

Ineedanap90 · 01/02/2020 20:02

So D doesn't have a space.. Remind me of D.. Is it D and B who are frenimies? Is it likely to cause drama K having parked in Ds space and so close to B?

Classic from my fruitloop neighbour last night.. I was loading something into my mums car.. Her car was outside hers but down ever so slightly when the car behind her moved. I said to my mum I bet she will run out to move.. Low and behold no more than 2 minutes later she came to reverse her car a whole 4ft into 'her space' curbing it in the process of course ha

Ineedanap90 · 01/02/2020 20:04

@Fairypiggy don't worry it's not weird I often do the same. It's my youngest 2nd birthday today and it's been manic.. Needless to say I would have loved to escape to my car for half an hour :)

originalcatlady · 01/02/2020 20:05

I haven't quite worked D out yet. He's the one who always parks touching bumpers but I don't know if that's to be kind to E or because he wants his particular space. He doesn't talk to ANYONE.

I was friends with the old D and he used to bring me their post. He just handed it over without a word.

OP posts:
Ineedanap90 · 01/02/2020 20:10

@originalcatlady Ahh thank you I may have been getting mixed up as there is the old D as well.. Probably likes his routine and parking where he always does.. Eats the same for breakfast every day, same sandwiches at lunch etc etc.. I've known people like that they don't like chatting to many as it disrupts their daily routine.. Or he could just see all the drama and is keeping well out of it... Apart from subtle digs at B for being a maniac.. Probably wonders inside chuckling to himself

originalcatlady · 01/02/2020 20:40

Speaking of whom...

D is now in what was left of 3 and overlapping E's drive. E can still get out but still a shit move.
