You’re not wrong

StoneofDestiny · 30/01/2020 18:09

The UK is batshit right now, not just on this issue
On this most sane people are united -unfortunately

Overtheknee · 30/01/2020 21:41

It’s all so childish. It’s just like what Farage did with the flags. They need to get a grip and be decent. However I don’t expect any better from Farage or indeed SNP.

TARSCOUT · 30/01/2020 23:17

@stoneofdestiny Scots voted to remain, yes to remain part of the UK

StoneofDestiny · 30/01/2020 23:20

Scots voted to remain, yes to remain part of the UK

Yes, once.

They also voted to remain in the EU.

Your point is?

KenzoBaby · 30/01/2020 23:31

SNP cybernats are scary folk! They hound anyone who doesn't agree with them and tell them to "fuck off to England". Way to reinforce the impression that they really are knuckle-scrapers who believe everything shown on Braveheart.

KenzoBaby · 30/01/2020 23:33

I myself will be raising a glass at 11pm tomorrow night. Much as I did when Scotland gave itself a stay of execution in 2014 by voting against independence.

I would honestly say that anyone voting SNP has demonstrated that they ought not to actually have the vote.

ExohExohGossipgirl · 30/01/2020 23:50

Dear Scotland,

We like your style and hope you get your independence and can rejoin us in the EU.

@ChangeInTime thank you for so beautifully illustrating my point! You cybernats, when challenged, remind me of a toddler going purple during a tantrum. Wink

PS - amazing that you actually HAVE been checking my fb page!

Something the SNP doesn’t respect. Unless it suits them.

Yes, we’ll keep on doing democracy until we get the answer we want, apparently.

It is ridiculous. Keeping the EU flag is petty and meaningless.

But just like with Brexit, the majority of folks shouting most for Independence are the ones who will undoubtedly lose the most in the long run.

I wonder who SNP will blame then?

TheGirlfromtheFictionDept · 31/01/2020 00:07

It was two Scottish lasses - Nicola and Jo - who granted Boris the General Election he wanted and needed thus ensuring we are leaving the EU tomorrow.

Thanks Scotland Hmm

KenzoBaby · 31/01/2020 00:08

The depressing part for you, Change In Time, is that actually, I'm not thick as shit. I'm very well educated and in a professional and responsible job. And there are lots of us, the silent majority! And your children will thank us.

ChangeInTime · 31/01/2020 00:10

How the fuck did you work that one out? Also they're women, not lasses.

KenzoBaby · 31/01/2020 00:11

Oooh, it's after midnight, HAPPY BREXIT DAY, EVERYONE!

hadenough · 31/01/2020 00:12

Well there we have the arrogance in one post. Dare to disagree and you shouldn't have the vote. Dare to believe in a country and you want to see its downfall.

Keep posting. You're a great ambassador as to why people should vote for independence.

to help you jog your memory

"the Liberal Democrats have drawn up a plan allowing Johnson to secure a December poll with a simple majority of MPs, with the support of Jo Swinson’s party and the SNP.

Under the one-page Lib Dem bill, the Fixed-Term Parliaments Act would be amended to state that the next election would take place on 9 December"

StarbucksSmarterSister · 31/01/2020 00:23

I would honestly say that anyone voting SNP has demonstrated that they ought not to actually have the vote.

Imagine your reaction if I said that about those who voted for Brexit.

BlackForestCake · 31/01/2020 00:26

How would an independent Scotland back in the EU work? We have open borders with countries over the sea but a hard border with our immediate neighbours?

You would have to put that question to the country to the south which is the one insisting on having a hard border.

Nippybutsweet · 31/01/2020 03:17

@ChangeInTime
*You can be well educated and professional and still thick as shit. As you are proving. The only way our children would thank you is if you tried to undo the bloody great mess you've landed us in, and then fucked off and never showed your faces again.

Anyway, I won't keep you any longer. I don't want you missing flute band practice.*

👏👏👏👏🤣🤣

Anxious1013 · 31/01/2020 06:32

YANBU wish I was Scottish too ☹️.

Good for you (genuinely), and I hope the EU flag stays outside Holyrood forever.
