See diagram below. I WFH and have no life but I'm pretty sure this will be entertaining to the Mumsnet parking thread folk!

House A, no car but X denotes the allocated disabled spot so he can be collected via a side entrance from his house.
House B, one car, has to park with car door level with front door, meaning she always uses space 1&2. Most people are afraid to park here. If someone does, she parks touching their bumper, in some kind of laying down the law attempt and stands there shouting "who's is this?" and similar nonsense.
House C, one car but not usually home, so is either forced to park in space X or further along from X, where there are two spaces in front of a garage.
House D, one car. Usually gets home first so gets space 3.
House E, house with drive.
House F, car but no drive. Usually parks in space 4.
House G, H, I, J have drives.
House K have two cars and no drive. They have been frequently told they are taking over the street and are not allowed to park in space 5, as it blocks house Gs drive and does not allow House F to park in space 4. I do point out that this has the same impact as house F parking in space 4 on me, but apparently not.
House L, house with drive (me).
House M, drive but no car.
House N, house with drive.

Houses B, F, G and M frequently have street gossips/meetings/bitching sessions declaring that people who haven't lived here for a billion years like them, are taking over, who do they think they are, they can't just park where they like etc etc.

So, if you're still with me, this brings me to today. In a spectacular turn of events, house K, who give no shits about fake parking laws, have parked in space 4. Their other car is further along in front of garage, as well as an unknown car.

House F have now come home parked kind of across both X and space 1 (basically leaving house Bs usual space for them). They are watching non stop to ensure they get their space back.

Very unusually, house C is home and has parked in space 2.

So. There is no space left in the street and house B, the most precious and hysterical have nowhere to park. They will return at 10pm.

This actually keeps me entertained daily. Sad I know.

I hope you are watching with your lights out and no background light such as a TV or your husband coming in from a lit up hallway shining you up like a stalker that you are (a lovely stalker though)

originalcatlady · 28/01/2020 22:22

Laughing at all you suggesting to share my thread with K

Might be a bit evil... but it would be just fabulous if her gearbox chose just now to burn itself out... Grin

Wonkywyebrows · 28/01/2020 22:23

Go out on a pretend trip to the bin or something and say cheerily ‘everything alright B?’ Grin Grin Grin

2020newme · 28/01/2020 22:23

Can I go to bed now? Or do we think there is more to come?

OnceUponATime000 · 28/01/2020 22:23

Is she giving her neighbours time to make good choices and move their cars from her road

originalcatlady · 28/01/2020 22:23

And she's back...just sitting in the street...because that's going to make everyone come out and move their cars 🤷‍♀️

I wish my street was like this, we are all far to polite and apologise in advance for any parking issues due to visitors.

LolaSkoda · 28/01/2020 22:24

Omg please let her start knocking on doors 😂

LittleDragonGirl · 28/01/2020 22:24

Shes much to entitled Shock

PassMeAnotherCoffee · 28/01/2020 22:24

If K has any sense they'll have had wine and be in bed with earplugs.

jpclarke · 28/01/2020 22:24

Shamelessly place marking, is there anyway for her to park?

WhatchaMaCalllit · 28/01/2020 22:24

B's complaining isn't completely futile. I'm loving her persistence though.

2020newme · 28/01/2020 22:24

Oh that is hilarious - what a silly moo!

I have changed my mind about you sharing this thread with K. You should share it with B Grin

PutYourLipsTogetherAndBlow · 28/01/2020 22:24

Has anyone ever stood up to this awful woman?

Frouby · 28/01/2020 22:25

Following because I love shit like this 😂😂😂.

Previously lived in a terraced street. Only a few drives, many cars plus on a bus route. Absolute carnage at least once a month. I miss it 😁.

LittleDragonGirl · 28/01/2020 22:25

If only shed realise all shes doing is giving everyone so much entertainment that K (or others) may make a habit of it to have something to do on a boring evening Grin

originalcatlady · 28/01/2020 22:25

And ohohoh ... she's parked on M's drive ... who are in bed

OnceUponATime000 · 28/01/2020 22:26

@LolaSkoda it has to be door knocking next or she's not the CF we hoped she was

StarspaXxX · 28/01/2020 22:26

I vote everyone stands on the doorstep with popcorn. Shamelessly.

WhatchaMaCalllit · 28/01/2020 22:26

Does M have gates?

TheBouquets · 28/01/2020 22:26

OP I think your street might be slightly more parking crazy than my street and that is bad!

YasssKween · 28/01/2020 22:26

Mrs K if you're a MNetter reveal yourself because we all want to be your friend GrinGrinGrin

2020newme · 28/01/2020 22:26

Creep out in ten minutes and knock Bs car so the alarm goes off.
