See diagram below. I WFH and have no life but I'm pretty sure this will be entertaining to the Mumsnet parking thread folk!

House A, no car but X denotes the allocated disabled spot so he can be collected via a side entrance from his house.
House B, one car, has to park with car door level with front door, meaning she always uses space 1&2. Most people are afraid to park here. If someone does, she parks touching their bumper, in some kind of laying down the law attempt and stands there shouting "who's is this?" and similar nonsense.
House C, one car but not usually home, so is either forced to park in space X or further along from X, where there are two spaces in front of a garage.
House D, one car. Usually gets home first so gets space 3.
House E, house with drive.
House F, car but no drive. Usually parks in space 4.
House G, H, I, J have drives.
House K have two cars and no drive. They have been frequently told they are taking over the street and are not allowed to park in space 5, as it blocks house Gs drive and does not allow House F to park in space 4. I do point out that this has the same impact as house F parking in space 4 on me, but apparently not.
House L, house with drive (me).
House M, drive but no car.
House N, house with drive.

Houses B, F, G and M frequently have street gossips/meetings/bitching sessions declaring that people who haven't lived here for a billion years like them, are taking over, who do they think they are, they can't just park where they like etc etc.

So, if you're still with me, this brings me to today. In a spectacular turn of events, house K, who give no shits about fake parking laws, have parked in space 4. Their other car is further along in front of garage, as well as an unknown car.

House F have now come home parked kind of across both X and space 1 (basically leaving house Bs usual space for them). They are watching non stop to ensure they get their space back.

Very unusually, house C is home and has parked in space 2.

So. There is no space left in the street and house B, the most precious and hysterical have nowhere to park. They will return at 10pm.

This actually keeps me entertained daily. Sad I know.

Love it.

Littlewhitedove · 28/01/2020 22:27

I cannot believe that she is just sitting waiting for a parking space to magically appear!

jpclarke · 28/01/2020 22:27

Did she block M in?

MsJaneAusten · 28/01/2020 22:27

Oh you just have to go out and check she’s okay Grin

PrayingandHoping · 28/01/2020 22:27

Exactly how old are these people OP? It sounds like primary school! 😱

GinandGingerBeer · 28/01/2020 22:27

She hasn't! Nooooo! The cheeky cow! I hope M gets her towed or at least eggs it.

Walnutwhipster · 28/01/2020 22:27

Go on kick it. Grin

LittleDragonGirl · 28/01/2020 22:28

@Frouby I still live in a terrace in walking distance to the local football stadium.. if I didnt hate football before I now dread match days.. once moved my car to nip supermarket late on a match day.. never again (I'm also disabled and use a blue badge so it's just not worth the hassle) as all neighbouring streets are zoned!

Noshowlomo · 28/01/2020 22:28

Going to bed but super excited for morning updates !

bluerad · 28/01/2020 22:28

woke DH by laughing too much. He said you're laughing at parking? He simply has no idea how much I'm invested in this thread. Great reporting OP.

PassMeAnotherCoffee · 28/01/2020 22:28

Oh boo! Better go to bed then.

2020newme · 28/01/2020 22:28

M has a drive but no car!!

originalcatlady · 28/01/2020 22:28

B and husband are standing in the street discussing how ridiculous this is and how they've taken over and then even louder, keeps repeating "who's is it? Who's is it?"

SpiderHunter · 28/01/2020 22:28

Omg! Can't believe she's parked on someone else's drive! I have a spare space on my drive and have let the neighbours use it when they asked but I'd go nuts at someone using it without asking!

DartmoorDoughnut · 28/01/2020 22:28

Wow the brass neck on B!! Cannot believe she’s parked on someone else’s drive Shock

YesThatsATurdOnTheRug · 28/01/2020 22:28

What are M like?? Will they be pissy or are they scared of her too?!

StarspaXxX · 28/01/2020 22:29

Creep out in ten minutes and knock Bs car so the alarm goes off.

YASS.

Teabay · 28/01/2020 22:29

Loving this Brew

LolaSkoda · 28/01/2020 22:29

M are the elderly ones without a car, right?

OnceUponATime000 · 28/01/2020 22:29

Does the husband know but it's trying to keep the peace by not saying

BettaSplenden · 28/01/2020 22:30

I wish M were able to come out and tell B to get the hell off thier drive. B sound absolutely bonkers

Jellykat · 28/01/2020 22:30

Such a shame M are car-less, be great if they're expecting a big delivery first thing

Gluetap · 28/01/2020 22:30

Someone should go and let down her tyres and leave a note about not parking there on her windscreen. That should wind her up nicely if she thinks M has turned against her Wink

2020newme · 28/01/2020 22:30

Thanks so much OP - gotta go to bed now. Hope I don't miss too much.
