Lots of crime series around lately.

It does make you think especially ones where people have been accused of murder but there was no body or DNA.

Bradley Murdoch, convicted for the murder of Peter Falconio, in the Australian outback, also to me is a conviction that I feel might not be a safe one. I’m more inclined to think peter’s partner, Joanne, knows far more about what happened than she said at the time.
That case always seemed very bizarre to me. I know that truth can be stranger than fiction but I never quite believed her.

As for Pistorius, there was actually a very similar case in the US just this week where a guy shot his wife. I find it odd that someone would reach for a gun before checking where their family members are (eg if I heard a noise in the house I'd check if my husband was still next to me in bed before I started to panic about intruders) but I know things are different in the US and particularly in South Africa.

Another reason not to have guns. If you have anger issues and are allowed to have a gun - it's never going to end well, is it?

There is absoloutley reasonable doubt that Adnan Syed did not kill her. He may have, he may not. But it's made very clear to a jury that if There is reasonable doubt, the defendant must be found not guilty.

He should not be in jail.

Bellfield has been ruled out of the Russell murders because he has an alibi for that day. This came from an ex partner who testified against him in his later murder trial. I think if she'd had any doubts she would have said so. I gather there's photographic evidence to back up the alibi.

I gather there was other DNA at the crime scene which has not been traced.

Josie Russell is also pretty certain it was Stone.
