William's alleged behaviour to blame?

lemonoilburner · 12/01/2020 20:25

For Harry's departure , as suggested?
Is it all rumour or a genuine possibility in
Your opinion?
Surely William's personal life did not offend Harry so much that he would actually step back from his role and life in the UK?

Ffs. Give it a rest.

TryingToBeBold · 12/01/2020 20:40

On this subject, I don't know how anyone can slate Meghan.. say she's this or that, has this personality trait or that.
No one bloody knows her personally. Noone knows the family personally.
It is all "reliable" sources.
Newspaper gossip.

PortiaCastis · 12/01/2020 20:41

Muck raking at it's finest

xmasbiccies · 12/01/2020 20:41

But obviously this was said to be fake news but yeah those are the rumors I’d read

TheYearOfTheDog · 12/01/2020 20:41

True, @TheCoolerQueen The women are always blamed.......

doritosdip · 12/01/2020 20:41

Do you mean William not approving of Meghan or Meghan being thrown under the bus to cover up Prince Andrew's behaviour and Willliam's affair?

BoneyBackJefferson · 12/01/2020 20:42

Just another person to blame for there decision.

It is about time people stopped looking to excuse these two and just realised that they don't want to be here.

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 12/01/2020 20:43

Is that you Meghan??

Doyoumind · 12/01/2020 20:44

Absolutely no one can know except the people involved. The speculation and some of the comments I've seen over the last few days on MN are shameful.

viques · 12/01/2020 20:44

I think having a big family bust up is probably the most normal thing that fucked up band of entitled over privileged misfits has done for a very long time.

Freddiefox · 12/01/2020 20:45

I think the royal family and the public we’re happy to keep Harry in the role of fun uncle role, they liked him in the role of ‘he like us’ and he had the cheek to grow up and become his own person.

I think the poor man had suffered quite a lot over the past decade, and he’s stepping out of Williams shadow. Good luck to him

xmasbiccies · 12/01/2020 20:45

Didn’t the royals take out an injunction against the British press to stop these rumors getting out about the affair? I dunno if it’s true but I’m sure I read that somewhere..an affair would be MUCH juicer gossip that MM being a diva....but strangely barely anything was reported about it!

The divorce will be interesting . . .

Genevieva · 12/01/2020 20:48

Blaming William is really quite offensive, when you consider that he and his brother have been through a lot together, he knows Harry better than anyone else and has said that he is worried about him.

The affair rumour was utter nonsense, like much that you will find in dubious publications like that. The only person who might have been unfaithful is Rose's husband. He is considerably older than her and had a reputation for being a bit of a womaniser. Lots of girls thought they could persuade him to settle down, but Rose found herself expecting a little boy and they had a shot gun wedding when she was 4 months pregnant. Whether he has been faithful since is really none of our business. Their relationship seems to work.

I really think they should all be left alone. There are complex issues that need to be hammered out and, when they have been, the decision will be published.

Is it just a more socially acceptable soap opera to immerse oneself in, rather than Emmerdale, Coro, or Eastenders? Or (gasp) Brookside?

'Ave you 'eard about our Kate? And that nasty Meghan?!'

TheYearOfTheDog · 12/01/2020 20:49

@doritosdip, the headlines about MM making Kate cry etc had died down by the time of Andrew's scandal. At the time every second headline was Meghan Markle a Diva to Kate's staff etc etc..., the papers knew about William's affair but weren't printing that.

2020BetterBeBetter · 12/01/2020 20:49

Surely William's personal life did not offend Harry so much that he would actually step back from his role and life in the UK?

Even assuming you believe the rumours, it seems very bizarre to even consider that William’s personal life would have offended Harry when his father and uncle’s did not.

lostsoulsunited · 12/01/2020 20:50

Oh god not another one.

NeckPainChairSearch · 12/01/2020 20:50

she is very determined and confident

Good for her. It's sickening how these qualities are used as a stick to hit women with.

And now I'll hide this thread along with the 45,000 others, before it fills up with more of the same moronic, misogynistic claptrap.

2020BetterBeBetter · 12/01/2020 20:50

Um, no. He does not have a reputation as a womaniser although he does for being unfaithful.

Screamqueenz · 12/01/2020 20:51

Lesley WTF?
Good God I hope you don't have daughters or grand daughters. (Or daughters in law for that matter)
Criticising a woman for being confident? You are aware that confidence is generally considered a positive trait in human beings?

Itchyhead2020 · 12/01/2020 20:53

Some of the posters on here are disgusting. Looking for betting odds on how long their marriage will last. It's no wonder they are moving away to get away from all the hate. Imagine if it was your marriage/life that was being spoken about that way.

xmasbiccies · 12/01/2020 20:53

Maybe they were offended by Andrew’s behavior which could be another reason they spent Xmas abroad...who would want to sit next to Him at the dinner table...from what I’ve read about MM I think she wouldn’t wanted to be associated with someone who might have been up to no good like that
