Soo I’ve worked a full week and done the weeks food shop. Was looking forward to flopping with a glass of white only to find yet again it’s been hoiked out and shoved in a cupboard. I only drink on a Fri night and dh doesn’t drink white. Says he hates it cluttering up the fridge.Hmm We have two small frudges, yes they get rammed but frankly at 50 years of age I think I can keep a single bottle of wine in my own fridge.Angry

HollowTalk · 10/01/2020 19:51

Divorce him.

But stick a bottle in the freezer for half an hour first.

Aquamarine1029 · 10/01/2020 19:51

Tell him very clearly to leave your wine in the fridge.

Sciurus83 · 10/01/2020 19:52

UNACCEPTABLE!!

user1493413286 · 10/01/2020 19:52

My DH does that with my drinks; I hate warm drinks and won’t have them unless they’re cold so it pisses me off

Tanaqui · 10/01/2020 19:52

Kill him. Do not put his body in the fridge!

Srsly, if he won't listen to you, take all his stuff out instead.

Oldishusernewname · 10/01/2020 19:53

YANBU

Kill him and bury him under the patio, you've got time while your wine chills down

Ilovetolurk · 10/01/2020 19:53

Twatty Behaviour

BonnyConnie · 10/01/2020 19:53

But it will go off if he does that and quite frankly one bottle of wine isn’t going to make a huge difference.

Oldishusernewname · 10/01/2020 19:53

@Tanaqui great minds and all that Grin

IronNeonClasp · 10/01/2020 19:54

First world problems Hmm

ThanosSavedMe · 10/01/2020 19:55

Ltb

BlueCornsihPixie · 10/01/2020 19:55

But why not just put it in on Thursday?

I'm sorry but actually this would really annoy me if DP insisted on keeping things on the fridge that didn't need to be there and our frifge was rammed. Just put it in on Friday morning/Thursday.

Kn33lengthsocks · 10/01/2020 19:55

It is twatty isn’t it. Keep telling him not to and he still does it.HmmAngry

@IronNeonClasp

First World Problems!

Agree.

There are some banal threads on here tonight. Confused

T0tallyFuckedUpFamily · 10/01/2020 19:56

First world problems

Serious topics thataway. Don’t let the door hit your arse on the way out.

Kn33lengthsocks · 10/01/2020 19:56

Too busy, work full time, organise all the meals so woukd forget. It’s one bloody bottle.

OP posts:
userxx · 10/01/2020 19:56

That would seriously piss me off.

Batqueen · 10/01/2020 19:58

Any food or drink that just he likes you can ‘forget’ to buy or leave out of the fridge to show him what a dick he is?

Oldishusernewname · 10/01/2020 19:58

First world problem? Or just an example of somebody not caring about their partner's comfort and convenience? It would bug me too, luckily my lot know better than to mess with my Friday night wine

paranoidmum2 · 10/01/2020 19:58

So not only does OP do the food shop but she's not even allowed to put what she puts in the fridge?

T0tallyFuckedUpFamily · 10/01/2020 19:59

Agree.

There are some banal threads on here tonight

No one forcing you to read them or comment. Why are you wasting time on here, instead of dealing with serious problems? Btw, using the term ‘first world’ is considered insulting as it implies that certain countries are ‘third world’, which is no longer acceptable language, but of course you both know that, since you’re so invested in important topics. 🤷🏻‍♀️

AwesomeMixTapeVol1 · 10/01/2020 20:00

Fridge lock. It's the only way forward if he can't be trusted to be a decent human being.
Probably grounds for divorce tbh.

Kn33lengthsocks · 10/01/2020 20:00

He helps with the food shopping to be fair. Was even more in a position to know how much I was gagging for my Friday night glass of chilled wine.
