snackarella · 10/01/2020 19:49

I want some too
Bad idea

Abraid2 · 10/01/2020 19:50

Not so keen on their stumpy little legs.

They look a bit weird IMHO.

siring1 · 10/01/2020 19:50

They're not pets.

No No No

cultkid · 10/01/2020 19:51

They are amazing
Their little feet
And Shiney nose
And tongue 🥰

They'll eat your garden and then escape.

Schmoozer · 10/01/2020 19:52

Doh !! Great idea 😂

lostsoulsunited · 10/01/2020 19:55

Keeping a pair is very half hearted OP, you should have a herd.

Noflora · 10/01/2020 19:56

They won't stay in your garden which is why we now have a huge feral population
They eat all you most precious plants and flowers
They make the most godawful racket all night

But, they are delicious

JKScot4 · 10/01/2020 19:56

At least 8 is ideal.

CaptainMyCaptain · 10/01/2020 19:56

They are wild animals. Don't.

caperberries · 10/01/2020 19:57

They come into our garden and eat every flower in sight! Not a good idea if you want to grow anything

Gorse · 10/01/2020 19:58

No! They are wild animals and need freedom.

beethecrackon24995 · 10/01/2020 19:58

i luffs them. i live near a forest. dh & i regularly go deer hunting (looking kind, not killing). there are fallon deer herds there too. fabulous when you stumble across a wild/free herd. they watch us too, they seem quite relaxed and curious. i love the way muntjacs hop along, the sweetest darlings

MyBlueMoonbeam · 10/01/2020 20:01

Totally U 🙈 apart from the fact that they are wild animals they are strange looking critters IMO 😆

RosieposiePuddingandPi · 10/01/2020 20:03

We have some tame-ish ones at work (along with some not so tame ones!) and they are very lovely but they can hurt you very easily and they are so incredibly loud!
If I work nights they scare the hell out of me because the males especially sound like a man shouting very suddenly and very close by 😂
They do have lovely faces though, I can totally understand the love.

BumbleBumbleBumbleLies · 10/01/2020 20:04

They come in our huge garden and do massive shits / eat everything in sight and bark constantly

CMOTDibbler · 10/01/2020 20:09

One of my dads friends had a muntjac that lived in their kitchen and used a litter tray. It eventually got ejected to live outside permanently (I think they'd found it as an injured baby) after it wore through a leg of the kitchen table running its antlers on it

MaryShelley1818 · 10/01/2020 20:29

I love Muntjac deer! Which CenterParcs are they at?

EpcotForever · 10/01/2020 20:33

I have some in my garden, very lovely. 'he' (only see one at a time) is out a lot in the day time.

countrygirl99 · 10/01/2020 20:54

You would need a surprisingly high fence. I've seen them clear the fence round my horses field with ease

Itsallgonewoowoo · 10/01/2020 20:56

I adore them, they make little grunty sound when you scratch their heads and ears. When I win the lottery...

JulietTango · 10/01/2020 20:59

@MaryShelley1818

They're at Elveden definitely. Not sure about any others though

ChilliMayo · 10/01/2020 21:00

I want some capybara.
Bloody love them little faces.

AKAanothername · 10/01/2020 21:02

They taste nice, great in pies 😀

Ariela · 10/01/2020 21:04

Why not sponsor a deer www.wildlifeaid.org.uk/product/adopt-a-deer/

Muntjacks are ugly things and they eat all our plants in the front garden.
