Those who use toilet brushes; HOW are you not scared of toilet water splash back
Every time you flush the toilet, micro droplets of bacteria laden water escape into the bathroom and alight on all your toothbrushes and surfaces
. Don't worry about it. You can drink your urine, so only pooh is a bit grim, and are you sure everyone closes the lid when they flush??
Me, I have a dedicated loo cloth. Spray the cloth and toilet with anti-bac, wipe from top to bottom, on the outside, don't go inside. Bleach or toilet duck and scrub with a brush inside and under the rim. Leave the toilet brush to soak in the loo, and spray the cloth again with antibac and leave to dry. Only clean once a week, never wash the cloth, but change it regularly.
I can hear the MN groans of disgust. Btw, family inc. kids, never, ever sick or tummy upsets. Perhaps we have developed good immunity from my, by MN standards, slobby cleaning.
I can remember my DM back in the day, before anti-bac cleaners existed, cleaned with just Cif and maybe a bit of bleach. Same cloths were used for entire bathroom, and were kept for years. Amazingly we all managed to survive.
