When your DC’s friends come over, do you let them connect to your home WiFi?

DC’s are 12.

My DC isnt old enough yet but when they are yes.... I would without hesitation. Why are you doubtful?

Do you let your adult friends/family have your password when they come round?

Yes especially if they’re playing on phones etc

No as I don't have parental controls on the wifi (just on dcs devices)

You haven't specified the voting. Presumably you think they shouldn't have the password, so YABU.

Yes and my DS has the wifi passwords of all his friends houses as well.

Yes of course I'm not that tight, I'd only consider not giving it if they were neighbor's and at risk of being cf and permanently using it at my cost

Yes but we have a guest network that has all the parental restrictions/limits going on it.

We have a guest network for them. Occasionally our neighbours guest join it, they get blocked via our mesh system.

We have a separate guest network for visitors/babysitters/kids mates

I’d rather they didn’t, but both of mine can just tell their friends anyway. Maybe I’d be less willing if we didn’t have unlimited WiFi though.

I will type in the password for them, they don't get free access to any passwords. Kids don't either, that way we know what devices they are putting on there.

Yes. Like other posters we have a guests network and operate a white list of pre-approved websites for the DCs age.
