To wonder why everyone hates Katie Price?

News stories over Christmas have zoned right in on her misery ... people seem to be loving the fact that she’s having a shit time.

It’s like “Katie price to spend Christmas Day alone!”
“Katie Price loses mucky mansion days before christmas!”
Katie Price to spend Christmas without her kids!”

Then a ridiculous headline yesterday : “Huge row erupts on Christmas Day as Katie Price’s kids argue with Peter” ... turns out it was based on a daft instagram video Junior posted showing how he’d pranked his sister with a joke present and she pretended to be annoyed ...

I’m not a fan of Katie Price either but why the venom?

Her money spending antics are incredible. 42 million blown is something I could not get my head around.
She's been great with her son that's disabled and I can admire her tenacity and how she's hi lighted the problems she's faced with him. She always came across as positive about him and disability in general and that's a good thing!
I've not read any of these new things about her , but it doesn't sound good.
In other areas of her life she's just come across badly , but the press do like to pull people down and she's always been a target. I feel a bit sorry for her.

Caca how do you know how much her surgery costs? Not being arsey but genuinley interested. I think the reason she looks a bit shocking is that she's had too much surgery...not necessarily cheap.

Unfortunately she has no skills or profession so just tries to keep current by using the only assets that she thinks she has, her body and her kids. Her body is scarred to hell because of the plastic surgery, blokes use her especially the current melt and the scum bag Alex the cross dresser, she is attention seeking constantly, hence the lewd language and behaviour, her porno boring as fuck, she was like a sad robot , just awful, she humiliated Peter Andre on the show, talking down to him, being overtly sexual instead of being the nice person she showed him she could be on I'm a Celeb. I can imagine his clever naturally pretty doctor wife just feels pity for her? She has nothing else to sell apart from her soul, and that'll probably be next. The instagram with Harvey was just embarassing,she has obviously orchestrated it all, cruel to her son, trying to shame Dwight, who was probably glad to escape the circus early. I sympathize with her having to care so much for Harvey, but this is a new low even for her, she needs an intervention and fast before she overdoses by accident or on purpose , drink or drugs :(

@rockingthelook I'm no Katie fan, but why shouldn't Dwight be shamed? He more or less abandoned his child, any regular bloke would be called a deadbeat.

I don't like or dislike her, however I do feel many posters are being overly forgiving because she's a woman.

If a man blew his entire lot, had a series of failed businesses, lost his home, lived in something that was as filthy as her home, paraded women after women in front of his kids and went on a reality show where he regularly tore down to mother of his children and his current partners there would not be the same response.

I think it's very telling that the two older children have moved in permanently with their father.
I also remember watching a part of the series she did with Keiran and they went to the Maldives. There was an issue with her youngest daughter's passport and so she, Keiran and the eldest kids went ahead and she left the youngest with the nanny to sort it and fly out later. That isn't okay.

The way she can exploit Harvey is also wrong. She took to Instagram to post a video or Harvey asking to see "Daddy Dwight", tagging him in it and airing all the dirty laundry. That is not fair on that boy. She set that up, she filmed that and put it out there.

I agree, Dwight has never been in Harvey's life, he was shamed right from the birth with his lack of involvement (apart from financial?), however Katie does not need to highlight it now by putting Harvey out there, we all know what Dwight hasn't done, it's his cross to bear, conscience to live with etc, nothing is going to change any time soon by Katie using the media. My opinion of any parent, grandparent or family member abandoning a child would be the same, I don't understand it, I have no respect for them,it's damned sad that they miss out so much in raising a child, but it is their choice albeit for whatever reason, love cannot be forced whether you are famous or not, Dwight's loss, Katie just needs to accept it and move on, he's not worth it

With the exception of Harvey when he comes home from Residential Care (although I'm not sure how that is working at the moment as she has nowhere for him to come to) Katie's entire life revolves around herself. Her other children are just props on Instagram.
The older two clearly love her and are loyal to her, but looking carefully between the lines, actually see very little of her, for all she tries to paint a picture of having them 50% of the time. For a start, they were enrolled in a new school last year, presumably close to Peter's new home in Surrey (not Sussex where Katie's uninhabitable "mucky mansion" is located) and with her latest driving ban, she could not transport them there. It was also reported that Junior would not stay overnight at hers due to the mess and chaos.
They spent Boxing Day with her, but very soon afterwards posted IG footage back at Peter's and are now away skiing with him and Emily.
Lucky for them that they have one stable parent (and stepmother).

Unconventional woman

Well, that's one word for it, Moomin'.

Poor thing. She is such a car crash isn’t she. Unfortunately she has zero transferable skills, and the thing is, she’s old news. Newer, younger girls are out and she’s become somewhat of a parody. She does what she can to be in the news to earn money I guess. I do fell pretty bad for her - every time I see her on the news, it’s never a nice article. The latest with Dwight was labelled a money grab because she’s broke. At least the older two have Peter and his wife to lean on. Not sure about the younger.

It is actually very sad. I don't know why I take such a morbid/fascinated interest in her. Everything she is now doing smacks of desperation. I watched her recent "reality" shows (she can't run to a whole series anymore, so just does a couple every now and then) and she had a couple of parties. They were so very obviously contrived for the show, with just a handful of people there and Katie showing off like mad and attempting to be whacky and fun. It was pitiful.

I don’t hate her but I think this mess is entirely her own doing and I have no sympathy for anyone that puts themselves first constantly before their children whilst exposing their children to a revolving door or boyfriends/fiancés before the sheets are even cold.

Let's just hope that Peter and Emily's influence will steer at least Princess in another direction than down the "glamour" modelling route. Would hope that Kieran would too for Bunny.

I don't hate her, I have no interest in her. The reason the papers are reporting on her 'misery' is because she is selling the stories to them. It keeps her in the press and she hopes people will watch her reality programme.
