To wonder why everyone hates Katie Price?

News stories over Christmas have zoned right in on her misery ... people seem to be loving the fact that she’s having a shit time.

It’s like “Katie price to spend Christmas Day alone!”
“Katie Price loses mucky mansion days before christmas!”
Katie Price to spend Christmas without her kids!”

Then a ridiculous headline yesterday : “Huge row erupts on Christmas Day as Katie Price’s kids argue with Peter” ... turns out it was based on a daft instagram video Junior posted showing how he’d pranked his sister with a joke present and she pretended to be annoyed ...

I’m not a fan of Katie Price either but why the venom?

Did they really? I don't think she was ever beautiful. I've never hated or disliked a woman for those reasons. I disliked KP for her behaviour I don't think she is a nice person. I can think of lots more beautiful women around the Jordan era who are still beautiful liked and respected.

She's a classic example of the celebrity who is famous for being famous, without any talent or real life skills to fall back on. Of course it was going to come to an end at one point, she's done well to keep it going for as long as she has.
Every single 'celebrity' who comes into money needs to consider that it can come to an end at any time. Keep on top of your tax bills, buy a decent house that you can afford to maintain on a smaller budget and save some money for a rainy day. Always be professional and polite to everyone you come into contact with in the course of your work, and always be nice to your fans. It really isn't that hard to do.

I don't hate her, I don't know her. I have seen her be very upfront about her son's needs. I think he has become too physically strong for her to manage. Peter Andre seems to have been a positive influence in his life also.

Her trouble may well be that she likes a party life style and as you get older you have to tone it down. It's sad for her that she can't.

If it's true that she's getting £1K per story sold, then considering the number of stories in the Mail/Mirror/Sun each week, she's getting quite a good income.
Whether it's enough to support her "lifestyle," is another matter.

Ah, so if a woman dislikes another woman it’s because she’s a woman? What utter bullshit.

If anything there has been some kind of expectation that because she’s a woman we should all see her as this shrewd business woman who loves her kids.

IMO she doesn’t give a shit about her kids. They’re all just commodities to her, and now they’re growing up she’s losing that. peter Andre has been absolutely vilified on here for being a decent father whereas she has been upheld as some kind of model of a loving mother just trying to do right by the children she keeps having to maintain her lifestyle.

Now she’s (thank fuck) too old to have any more children, and she’s essentially lost the ones she has because she’s been such a shit mother to them. To an extent she can still exploit Harvey but even that one is starting to lose appeal to the mass audiences as he’s getting older which all too sadly does happen. You only have to look on here to see that posters talk about how people treated their DC with SN when they were little vs how they react to them once they’re older and bigger.

If she was a shrewd business woman she wouldn’t be bankrupt and wouldn’t be living the high life while having no money. I’d never got the shrewd business woman thing anyway.

It’s not about hatred IMO its about waking up to the reality that nobodies like her should never have been seen as something in the first place, and that not everything should be for sale just because you happen to be in the right place at the right time.

It’s the same with most celebrities these days. People appear on some dross like love island and suddenly they’re famous enough to appear on “I’m a celebrity get me outa here,” when actually they’ve never done anything remotely worth celebrating in their lives. Being a wannabe shouldn’t be seen as a full-time job where you can earn £££ and where people can say how degrading it is to do actual work for a living.

That Harvey video is heartbreaking. Using your child to shame someone publicly is not the way to go about this.

If Dwight really can't cope with his son's disabilities (which is totally shit of him I know) but if he really doesn't want to see him, it would be incredibly cruel to Harvey to force a meeting that might hugely distress him and set him up for further rejection.

she's not really too old to have more kids unfortunately, she's only 41. I too find it hard to sympathise, though she clearly has issues, as its all been self inflicted.

It's nothing to do with her being a woman. A bad parent is a bad parent regardless of gender. Dwight Yorke is a waste of space as far as I'm concerned.

I'm no fan of Peter Andre either, I find him smug and holier than thou. But he appears to be a better and more stable parent for the children than Katie.

Yet I suppose people will continue to describe her as a "shrewd businesswoman" lol
She can't be that shrewd if she blew 45 million and is now legally bankrupt. She could easily have hired a good financial advisor with that amount of money.

I've had dealings with KP in the past, not saying how as it would be too outing. But KP herself is horribly insecure, hateful and jealous towards other women, cannot stand women in her group getting more attention than she does, has to have the male gaze constantly and only on herself etc
So this statement is pretty hilarious to me!

She is fascinating and horrifying in equal measure. She’s destroyed her looks and dresses like a desperate older booker. She lives a hectic scummy life which can’t just be for the cameras or she would have the kids living with her full time. She needs to sort herself out

I don't like her but wouldn't say I hated her. I don't think she's a good parent and needs to grow up. At least her children have decent dads. She can't keep a,relationship going, favours having cheap surgery over her children and introduces endless men to her children. She also constantly runs the children's dad's down. Not the actions of a loving parent.
She wasn't too bad when she was with Peter I think he was good for her but then ruined it by being vile.
I can't feel sorry for her as the mess she's in is of her own making. I do feel very sorry for her children though.
