To wonder why everyone hates Katie Price?

News stories over Christmas have zoned right in on her misery ... people seem to be loving the fact that she’s having a shit time.

It’s like “Katie price to spend Christmas Day alone!”
“Katie Price loses mucky mansion days before christmas!”
Katie Price to spend Christmas without her kids!”

Then a ridiculous headline yesterday : “Huge row erupts on Christmas Day as Katie Price’s kids argue with Peter” ... turns out it was based on a daft instagram video Junior posted showing how he’d pranked his sister with a joke present and she pretended to be annoyed ...

I’m not a fan of Katie Price either but why the venom?

Her older DC must be mortified by her behaviour and the mucky mansion covered in crap, the grounds covered in dog shit she has no shame.

I don't "hate" Katie Price

She is clearly a very troubled individual who has made a series of poor decisions likely influenced by drugs and poor mental health

But the Gutter Press love to stick the boot in on women like this they seem to revel in it

No. She's making money, as usual, through stories.

What else has she ever done except be famous for being famous? What else is she famous for exactly, except for being Katie Price? She's made her money out of selling the story of the rise of Kate Price the glamorous playgirl, then the life of glamorous Katie Price. Now she's aging, what's the obvious storyline? The Fall Of Katie Price. She's just playing the press and all the people who read and gasp along. And she will for as long as she can squeeze a story out which folk will give a second glance to.

I don't hate her or anyone.

But she is a poor parent. She has put her love life before her kids time and time again and continued to say and do things to hurt and embarrass her exes and her children. Four of her children live with their fathers. Harvey doesn't because he is estranged from his father and boards at a school for SEN during the week.

Moreover she is a drink driver who has lost her licence numerous times and has driven when banned.

So do I feel sympathetic towards her being vilified? Nope.

It's ridiculous, Peter and Katie co parent and it was his turn for Xmas and she had them on Boxing Day/ - normal life for many! I am not a fan but have no ill feelings either and think it's awful how the vultures are currently circling

She leaps from one disastrous relationship to another, without caring about the emotional impact on her children

She insults her children's fathers to the press, which her older children can read now and her younger children will read in the future. Parents should not do that

She puts herself through cheap cosmetic surgery abroad for the sake of vanity, each time taking a risk and abandoning her dc for weeks at a time

She pleads poverty then boasts on social media about all the expensive presents she's got for her dc*

This. I dont “hate” her but considering the above it’s hardly shocking that lots of people dislike her and are fed up of seeing her splashed all over the papers. She’s famous for having large breasts. That’s it. If she was a witty, kind, interesting person it wouldn’t matter so much how she got famous but she isn’t. She’s arrogant, vain, attention seeking and shallow. Not the kind of person I have any interest in or wish to read about. I have no idea why the papers, or anyone, is so obsessed with her. I can think of hundreds of people I’d much rather hear about than her.

Well I dont hate her. I wouldn't want to be her, never aspired to anything about her really but shes had her fun and made some cash. She must have some savvy. Just like most other people she has made some bad choices and I suspect some MH things going on. I'm sure once she turns 70 she might back with some regrets but I think she will keep bouncing back for a few more decades yet

I also find it funny that people are making excuses for her behaviour (drink driving etc) and yet on another thread a poster was bemoaning getting a ticket for going through a red light and was shredded to pieces for it. Why the double standard? She could have killed someone.

The press have a serious vendetta against KP at the moment and I’m completely sick of reading it!

I don't hate Katie Price. She has been in the past a astute business woman. Seems to bring her kids up OK. I do like how she is with her disabled son.

Its a shame its mostly women who tear her apart. I suspect she's not so happy and of course she's made mistakes as many women have. But so what..? She's human.

I don't know her personally obviously but she wouldn't be 1st to come to my mind re any form of hate or dislike.

Unless I missed there were a complete absence of Katie Price Stories in the Telegraph over the past week. If you read scummy rags, you get scummy stories.

I don't hate her, she's a complete irrelevance. I would be interested in knowing why some think she'[s a good mother, I've seen no evidence of it.

I don’t hate her, I feel sorry for her to a degree but she does behave appallingly. I know a few people who’ve had dealings with her and they don’t speak well of her.

This is her career though, she’s made her money by being a personality. Maybe the attention has gotten away from her control or maybe this is orchestrated by her team; it’s hard to tell but the fact remains that if she doesn’t have the odd story out there interest drops and the money stops.

It’s the same with z-listers getting papped arranging to meet paparazzi on holiday looking grotesquely fat and then selling their weight loss success stories. If KP really wanted to get out of the public eye she absolutely could.

KP is probably lining up her billionth biography Hmm

Take her fame out of the equation and what we have is a SN mum with a terminally ill mother, poor mental health, multiple addiction issues and rock bottom self esteem. I wish her all the best.

She's a dreadful woman.

The way she uses her kids as publicity tools is revolting. Not to mention, those poor kids have had a parade of step dads brought into their lives and none of them seem to last longer than a year (some of them dont even last a month).

Once she was young, successful and men desired her - so lots of women hated her.

She is no longer any of those - lots of women love hearing about this.
