I wish I was joking! I truly hate them. When I wear one, it's all I can think about and it honestly puts me in a massive strop!!!!

I hate how they give me back fat, I hate the feel of the straps, the clips, everything about them.

I have done everything I can - been accurately measured (NOT M&S) , tried every bra you can imagine and I can't handle it.

I also hate socks and tights and don't wear them either, so feel like it's a sensory processing issue.

I live in crop tops, those seamless ones. But they severely limit what tops I wear as they don't give enough support.

I am wondering if there is any other bras that people can reccomend? Ones without back clips, that are pull on if possible, but offer support.

My boobs are a 36 C

£32 isn’t too bad swinging i usually pay at least that at bravissimo.

LizzyDarcy1 · 26/12/2019 23:42

I agree with Heismyopendoor - £32 isn't actually bad for a larger cup bra and it is well worth it for a Molke.

They are worlds away from the cheaper, soft bralette or crop top type things you can get. They give a really good shape with great uplift.

Wimpeyspread · 27/12/2019 00:01

I have discovered these, and hardly wear anything else - more support than any other crop top I’ve tried:

I pay £9 in the Asda for a bra that actually looks nice too. The molke ones don't look remotely sexy.
I would feel like my granny if I stripped down to one of those when getting frisky with my old man.
No way would I be ripped off for £32 on account of me being unfortunate to have big boobs.

pooboobsleeprepeat · 27/12/2019 00:10

Molke!!!

HeyMac · 27/12/2019 00:13

OP if you have googled having a brewers reduction I seriously doubt you are a 36C. Just doesn't sound right at all. Have you tried the BoB calculator?

Molke are worth every penny! You forget you are wearing one and can sleep in it and be so comfy (airports, hospitals, etc).

LumpyPillow · 27/12/2019 00:27

Tutti Rouge do some really comfy and pretty bralettes, have a whole section for non wired. Also ASOS do some good options and now M&S have really picked up their bralette game, loads of nice options now from plain and practical, seamless etc to lacy modern stuff.

My friend and I (both large chested) had to stop wearing wired bras about 8 years ago due to the pains we were getting in our breasts. We both one day confessed we were worried about having cancer. We researched it and so many women end up with many cysts etc due to wearing wires, blocking off lymph nodes in your armpits. So many stories online of women ditching the wires and that their next scans their breast tissue had cleared up and pains gone. It's no wonder when you think about it and consider the lymphatic system etc

It truly is insane that we have to suffocate ourselves and our body parts all day long. Would men wire cages round their balls? Would they fuck as like!

Be freeee Grin

BuffaloCauliflower · 27/12/2019 00:29

@Purpleartichoke your mother was extremely wrong. It’s physically impossible to be 34 inches around a ribcage whilst also being a UK size 4, unless perhaps you’re 8 feet tall? I’m a size 12 a wear a 30 or 32 back.

SexlessBoulderBelly · 27/12/2019 00:31

I’m a 34G and exactly the same feeling I absolutely hate them, but then I hate my boobs anyway, but them with a bra is hideous. The back fat and the second set of boobs under the wire of the bra, which is totally unavoidable due to the sheer weight of my boobs just makes me look lumpy, frumpy and grumpy.

I would die for your C size boobs though. Dream size.

fedup21 · 27/12/2019 00:31

Molke are fantastic

SheDoneAlreadyDoneHadHerses · 27/12/2019 00:32

NegroniOnIce I bought zip up bralet/sports type bras after my rotator cuff surgery. I got mine from Simplybe but M&S do them at a better quality

BuffaloCauliflower · 27/12/2019 00:32

@chuck7 the 36 part sure, but 36C, nah. Only 3 inches bigger over bust than band, not very likely. Even very small busted women are generally more than 3 inches over bust. A C anything is really quite small. Not impossible of course, but not nearly as common as the bra section in most shops would have you think

BuffaloCauliflower · 27/12/2019 00:34

@SwingingBy 1) we don’t all have the same idea of sexy 2) being sexy is not the number one concern of most women

Butchyrestingface · 27/12/2019 00:35

Same.

Hate:
Bras
Socks
Skirts
Sleeves touching my wrists
The sensation of my hood being up

SexlessBoulderBelly · 27/12/2019 00:36

@BuffaloCauliflower

My nipples aren’t far off reaching my belly button, infect if I lean slightly when sat up naked I can aim a nipple into my belly button.. does that sound sexy? 😂

BuffaloCauliflower · 27/12/2019 00:51

OP if you’ve looked at breast reductions, you’re not a 36C. If you’re a size 14 a 34 or 32 bust is much more likely, but with a much bigger cup than C. Do give the Boob or Bust calculator a go, a wildly wrong sized bra is obviously unlikely to be comfortable whatever the style

BuffaloCauliflower · 27/12/2019 00:52

@SexlessBoulderBelly if you’re owning it and feeling confident then absolutely Smile

ferrier · 27/12/2019 00:53

36C is a very standard size and usually found on a size 12 or 14 woman.

BuffaloCauliflower · 27/12/2019 01:01

@ferrier only if they’re being measured incorrectly by someone adding 4 inches to the band. Wrap a tape measure firmly round the underbust of a size 12 woman and I doubt you’ll get 36 inches

BuffaloCauliflower · 27/12/2019 01:03

Also - noones body is a ‘standard size’ we’re all vastly different in size and shape.

Heismyopendoor · 27/12/2019 01:03

swinging Asda don’t even do my size 😂 I’ve looked at cheaper bras and they simply don’t offer the same support as the more expensive ones.

Don’t get me wrong, I wish I didn’t have to spend that on a bra, like £20-£25 wouldn’t feel like such a kick in the teeth. But all the ones I’ve had from bravissimo have lasted and lasted and I wear them to death as only ever buy two and just rotate them.

DaisyDreaming · 27/12/2019 01:27

Marks do a croptop which has more support than your average croptop. There’s colours in the smaller range but you need the DD+ one as it has lots more support than the similar looking ones

ferrier · 27/12/2019 01:44

@BuffaloCauliflower Maybe old fashioned but still working exceptionally well for many people. I'm a size 10 and 34B. Yes 34B.
If 36C isn't a standard size, why are there so many of them in the shops?

Spanielmadness · 27/12/2019 01:53

I’m 32D and don’t wear a bra. Much more comfy

tillytrotter1 · 27/12/2019 01:54

When I was still teaching I would, in Summer, remove my bra at the traffic lights which in a convertible was always interesting!
