I have been spoilt. We bought a new sofa a couple of months ago and DP got me some lovely cushions. Got some scented candles and a surprise slow cooker.

I've had loads of really great gifts but my most favourite one is the little music box that as you turn the handle it plays the music from Harry potter and if you open the lid you can see the mechanism an absolutely beautiful present from my dsd (it made me cry ) she knows me so well

That sounds really lovely moolady. DD is a big Harry Potter fan. I got her a HP PJ set, lots of HP socks and HP bottle.

My DD hit the jackpot at the Parents’ Wrapping Room this year and got me a gorgeous silk scarf.

I struggle with scarves, but this one is perfect.

Igotthemheavyboobs · 25/12/2019 21:04

A washer/dryer from my parents Grin not your normal style gift but I am currently 6 months pregnant and ours broke! Certainly a weight off my mind hehehe

aibutohavethisusername · 25/12/2019 21:05

How old is your DD 1hamwich4 is it something she had help buying?

I’ve got a woolly hat and scarf from my partner’s sister.

Toss up between a beautiful 50s style dress, fondue set or my pewter & crystal dragon ornament.

A rainbow coloured throw from the National Trust, it's absolutely beautiful.
Glossier 'You' perfume
A tan handbag from National Trust
A dog walking bag with collapsible water bowl and a whistle!

I fell very listened to and loved 💖

My sister gave me a pair of lovely sterling silver butterfly back hoops with small feather charms. Also a star print mini dress from Oasis.

And my mum got me a cute vintage miniature Moorcroft vase decorated with Siamese cats.

My dad bought me 3 vintage books & several antique Victorian photos which I collect.

& a good friend gave me a Waterstones voucher, she knows me well!!

malylis · 25/12/2019 21:11

A mixed selection case of wine from Berry Brothers some absolute beauties in there too.

Rainingdogsandcats · 25/12/2019 21:15

Difficult to see in the pic but this is a red Amethyst and diamonds. I'd drooled over it some weeks ago in a shop and DH secretly bout it. I've taken off my engagement ring to wear it on this finger for a while.

I love it.

A black missoni cardigan
Wooden duck ornament with yellow wellies
Bluetooth ear buds

WildRosie · 25/12/2019 21:23

Not this Christmas but 1981 and 1983 when I got a Casio digital alarm clock and a Buler quartz analogue watch respectively. The alarm clock is still doing the business after 38 years !! The watch has been less plucky - two replacement quartz movements and at least three replacement glasses and a repaired bracelet clasp. But, still the same face; it still looks much as it did 36 years agoSmile.

I love my koala blanket but I think my favourite is a jigsaw of me and the woof when he was a tiny pup - every year since we’ve been married (7 on Saturday) I’ve had a puppy on my Christmas list and DH always gets me something on that theme but no actual puppy yet

Oldraver · 25/12/2019 21:39

A china Tasmanian Devil and a herd of Alpacas

Stompythedinosaur · 25/12/2019 21:50

Some fiendishly hard wooden puzzles from dp. They have kept me entertained today. Dbro has also done well with a mug with a feminist slogan that I really like and a second hand nintendo ds.

Supersimkin2 · 25/12/2019 21:54

Perfect Givenchy lipstick and white roses. Just lovely.

1hamwich4 · 25/12/2019 22:01

She’s ten, it was all her (plus a hefty dose of luck that her school is in a naice area and someone clearly donated an unwanted but very lovely posh scarf gift Grin)

Rose789 · 25/12/2019 22:04

Dh got me a hand drawn black and white drawing of my mum with my 2 kids, my mum died when I was a teenager. I was upset a few weeks ago that she never got to meet my girls, or attend my wedding and talked to dh about it. I will treasure it for always.
