I wouldn’t have eaten it, it looked disgusting. Confused that you cut a suspicious looking but off and ate it. You do know bacteria are microscopic, don’t you.

Food poisoning can be weeks before being evident.

My DH worked at a chicken factory when in sixth form. He said they were forever chopping off veruccas. He’s now very fussy about his meat.

Today's news item re the Aldi cook in the bag turkey is that those that didn't get rotten birds and stuck the turkey in to cook got it out of the oven with said plastic bag melted all over their turkey Shock. I am NEVER buying one Grin
