I think spitting is unreasonable under any circumstances. It can spread disease; the person who'll see it and have to clean it up will doubtless be a cleaner on minimum wage, not the Prime Minister; and to use a tired but true cliche, what if everyone did it? But I don't blame you for FEELING like spitting at that revolting individual!
