At the gates of 10 Downing st.

Never done anything like it before but it seems to me that any standards of decency in Westminster have been lost....

Aibu

OP posts:

Am I being unreasonable?

If labour had won, and I'd spat at a corbyn downing street, would you think I was reasonable?

You're a disgrace

vassdal · 14/12/2019 20:31

Disgusting. Spitting is disgusting... if in fact you did spit at the gates of Downing Street (guarded by police).
What did the police say when you spat?

FAQs · 14/12/2019 20:33

Does your mum know you’re on the Internet.

aggitatedstate · 14/12/2019 20:33

You're disgusting! What a great example you are.

Gwenhwyfar · 14/12/2019 20:38

"Spitting is never acceptable."

Never? What if you've swallowed poison? What if you have phlegm and you're spitting into a toilet?

CorbynsComrade · 14/12/2019 20:39

The outrage on this thread over what’s now deemed fictitious spitting is fucking priceless. Gave me a good laugh at least

whiplashy · 14/12/2019 20:39

1 what gates Confused
2 who do you think has to clean that up? Boris himself?
3 1 & 2 are irrelevant since this never actually happened

rwalker · 14/12/2019 20:40

This is what we have come to promising people pots of gold that were NEVER going to appear .
TBH I think he knew he wasn't going to win so every day free this free fucking that .Upping the offerings everyday even though the poles for him were declining Whipping vulnerable and naive people up into a frenzy of hatred .
JC has lied all through his campaign .
so make sure you spit on his door as well if you are that way inclinded.

TheoriginalLEM · 14/12/2019 20:42

Jeremy? Is that you??

NameChangeNugget · 14/12/2019 20:43

Nice story bro Biscuit

Gwenhwyfar · 14/12/2019 20:43

"My biggest concern is if someone has to clean it."

Nobody has to clean spit from the ground. If they did, the council would have to hire a million extra street cleaners from my area.
Of course, spitting is horrible, but this election result is also horrible. I don't blame you OP - you could have done much worse.

skybluee · 14/12/2019 20:46

@cardibach so why is everyone so horrified about it? there is a very low risk of it passing anything on... the only thing I could think of it 1. someone slipping 2. someone has to clean it up, nothing else.

Bodyposiftw · 14/12/2019 20:47

Spit in BoJo's face, fair enough. He is doing far worse to the country and it's only the start.
Spitting on a gate that someone else has to clean for a ridiculous wage, not on.
I can imagine doing this myself of sheer anger though, but objectively it is a bad idea.

RandomWordsandaNumber5 · 14/12/2019 20:48

Grow up.

GabsAlot · 14/12/2019 20:51

itgs illegal in some countries shold be here-nothing to do with germs i just think its gross

Gwenhwyfar · 14/12/2019 20:52

"1. someone slipping "

You wouldn't slip on spit any more than on a road that's been rained on. Nobody would clean it up outside.

I agree it's disgusting and rude, but that was the point wasn't it!

Derbee · 14/12/2019 20:54

Pointless, disgusting, pathetic, immmature. HTH

ScrommidgeClaryAndSpunt · 14/12/2019 20:54

Utterly foul and you know it. What has it achieved? Sort yourself out.

sunshinefinally · 14/12/2019 20:55

Wow... vile. And childish. So I think everyone is saying yes YABU

VanyaHargreeves · 14/12/2019 20:57

Disgraceful, loutish behaviour

And I didn't vote Boris/Tory

Spitting in public is repellent

HoppingPavlova · 14/12/2019 20:59

OP, don’t understand why you didn’t go the whole hog and dump a shit.

Honestly, it’s vile and just makes you look like an idiot.

MotherOfDragonite · 14/12/2019 21:00

That doesn't sound likely to raise standards - YABU :-(

Beautiful3 · 14/12/2019 21:00

No its not acceptable to spit...ever.

Libertylee · 14/12/2019 21:00

How disgusting and bloody stupid.

bluebells1 · 14/12/2019 21:04

Does this allow your supreme leader to become the PM?
