If Labour fail to win the election do you think Corbyn should resign?

He’s lost/losing 2 elections the Labour Party should have won.

The membership keep him in power.

I left the party over a number of issues and feel enraged we don’t have an opposition that’s able to challenge one of the most feeble Tory leader/party in history.

I’m still “red” and will be voting tactically for Labour, but with a heavy heart.

I believe he should resign (and have done so before now) am I unreasonable?

And now he's going to lead the party through a period of reflection..... and make sure someone as unelectable as him takes over. 🤷‍♀️

But at least his intention to stay on gives moderates the chance to join the Labour party so they qualify for a vote in the next leadership election.

Medieval. Agree. They will be blaming the media, but honestly the British people have roared their view to the country. Come on Labour, disband, get a proper opposition, McDonnell looked beaten (good, he was a dangerous Marxist who would have trashed the country).

Very well done Boris. You got it right. Now you need to deliver.

No, staying on so it gives time for The party within the party called Momentum to line up a Corbyn junior so as the BBC said this morning, means Boris will probably be occupying No 10 for 10 years

What an utter disgrace of an opposition...and no doubt if Momentum remain in control, then the awful anti semitism will continue.

As I said below. You have to have been a member for 6 months at the freeze point to be eligible to vote.

Yes

No one can say for sure but had Labour gone with David Miliband way back when who knows how different it would be now.

dionysus19 · 13/12/2019 10:20

He should go. He should have left a long time ago. A person who is not supported by half of his party members is not fit to lead. Labour lost because of him. People didn't vote for Boris, they just didn't want to vote for Corbyn.

MarshaBradyo · 13/12/2019 10:22

There was a big walk out a couple of years ago re Corbyn he didn’t listen then.

Ah yes ☹️

sunglasses123 · 13/12/2019 19:36

Why all the mention of Milliband and John Smith? One has died and the other isn’t interested. Regroup, get a centre leader and provide a credible opposition. It’s going to take you years and years. If you vote in Rebecca Long Bailey you are finished....
