I find Corbyn deeply unsettling

There is something about the man that makes me shudder - the cold detachment of the man.

I really do worry about what would be unleashed if he were elected.

I can cope with much of the sentiment in the Labour manifesto, but not the man. Similar feelings about Mc Donnell, but he seems to manage to pull out some humanity in interviews

Can you here my tiny violin? No? Grin

Sneezewitch · 10/12/2019 21:30

He’s not going to lose, either.

Those of you talking about tactical voting should take that advice carefully as there’s a lot of LibDem misinformation. They’re lying about Kensington for sure, the LD candidate is a Tory defector who slandered the Labour MP Emma Dent Coad. Do your research!

ManonBlackbeak · 10/12/2019 21:35

Tory's getting scared I see.

Why are you so bothered if the polls are on your side?

LoonyLunaLoo · 10/12/2019 21:35

He was at a school near me today helping children to prepare reindeer hot chocolate kits for their school fair... yeah he sounds awful 🤨 in the mean time our local conservative MP has been MIA for the whole campaign...

Wouldilie2u · 10/12/2019 21:35

I have done a lot of research this time round as this election feels like a Big One
and we owe it to our children to get it right, for once.

Found this interesting website: www.costofcorbyn.com

He is a Commumist through and through and a Jeremy Corbyn-led government would mean regression and eventually, repression.

Elbeagle · 10/12/2019 21:38

LoonyLunaLoo it’s the opposite here... haven’t seen hide nor hair of our Tory MP since he was elected 9 years ago (he has a few small towns and villages in his constituency and apparently, in his words, we’re not his priority Hmm) but I’ve seen him three times in the past 2 weeks. Obviously rattled!

BuckingFrolics · 10/12/2019 21:38

I've reached the point where I hope the Tory's win and everyone suffers - that's what we as a country deserve for raising self interested, greedy fuckers and the sooner we as a nation - or what's left of the UK after Ireland and Scotland leave - hit rock bottom the better.

ThebishopofBanterbury · 10/12/2019 21:41

Well said bunking.

pootroll · 10/12/2019 21:43

We do owe it to our children, to still have an NHS.
@wouldilie2u

Vote Labour x

I find Corbyn deeply unsettling
LoonyLunaLoo · 10/12/2019 21:44

@Elbeagle ours should be panicking... he only won by I think 1700 votes last time and he’s done nothing I mean absolutely nothing for his constituency. The Labour, Liberal Democrat and Green Party candidates on the other hand have been everywhere and Jeremy Corbyn’s been twice!

Wouldilie2u · 10/12/2019 21:47

@pootroll

Check out the Labour Government record on the NHS: I was reading a thread on here earlier that pointed out it was a Blair Government that shut hospitals and reduced GP services, forcing more pressure into the remaining hospitals.

Elbeagle · 10/12/2019 21:48

LoonyLunaLoo ours seems to spend most of his life on the news bigging up Boris and Rees-Mogg 😩

Pinkandgreenfloral · 10/12/2019 21:52

Terrorist sympathiser...Marxist idiot. He’ll do away with our nuclear deterrent and bankrupt the country.,

Ah, your 'interesting' website is another shapeshifting effort from the Tory party ...

(I think you need to improve the quality of your research.)

ListeningQuietly · 10/12/2019 21:56

Corbyn has achieved stuff all in his life so far other than sit tight in a rich North London constituency.

Why do people think he will suddenly become effectual next week ?

Bluntness100 · 10/12/2019 21:56

Anyone else who can't wait for Friday and these threads to stop..🤣

thegreenbox · 10/12/2019 21:59

Oh and JC4PM ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌈

mycatthinksshesatiger · 10/12/2019 22:03

I agree with you op. He wasn’t being very empathetic when he shared a platform with Hamas, or when he went to a memorial service in North Africa for the terrorists who attacked and mutilated the Israeli Olympic team. People have very short memories indeed. And don’t get me started on his support for the IRA in the past and his tolerance of vicious antisemitism in his party. What I really can’t understand is how people can be so taken in by him on TV at the moment. So he says the right things and looks sympathetically when asked about the NHS and food banks. But please don’t forget his past friendships and sympathising with terrorists. He’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Am I won’t be voting for Boris either. But this thread umisnt about him.

pootroll · 10/12/2019 22:05

@wouldilie2u I’m all good for right wing propaganda thanks.

JC 4 PM ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

Jiggles101 · 10/12/2019 22:06

Lumene - the chief rabbi is a massive Tory and a personal friend of BJ so no I don't take what he says seriously at all.

Boris has said some outrageous things about black people, Muslims and women - not to mention lying through his teeth at any given opportunity.

Dontsweatthelittlestuff · 10/12/2019 22:07

Corbyn accepted £20k from Iranian state TV. Iran the country that throws gay people off of high buildings and other human rights violations.

The man is a disgrace to the Labour Party that I would have voted for. Now the LP should be renamed the cult of Corbyn club.

Justanotherlurker · 10/12/2019 22:07

Did I do that right Justanotherlurker? Hope so, I really want to get on in the Tory party!

You keep reading the Canary and ignoring hope not hate, the fact that the bnp, storm front openly support corbyn and pretend you can hear the dog whistles.

You trying to pretend that there is only a problem with Tory shills highlights your critical thinking skills, no doubt gained from your Red brick uni, fair play.

BuT wE dOn'T vOtE fOr LeAdErs...

continue post as attack pieces on boris, and regurgitate partisan press pieces whilst pretending the other side is easily led.

I really hope labour win this election for the wake up call, but i suspect friday is going to go into even more melt down than it did in 2010, 15,16 and 17 and in 2021 still try and pretend MN is being targeted by Tory bots.
