AIBU to be shit scared of BJ winning the next election?

Not sure how everyone else is doing, but I am just increasingly terrified about the idea that BJ and the likes of Jacob Rees-Morgan, Ian Duncan Smith (god they are just so disgusting Angry) are going to win this election. Got family in Australia and this morning it was raining ash and people literally can't breathe. The Tories are going to do nothing, zero, nada about climate change. And when I look at my kids I just don't know how we are going to survive another five years. and don't get my started about the state of the kid's school - the teachers are doing their best, but the reality is it's a shit show bc of how many cuts they have had. Friends are going canvassing for Labour and me and DH are doing our bit too - but it all just feels surreal - BJ talks shit, tells lies, and has reinvented himself as "new" when the fucker has been IN GOVT for years. Any got any ideas on how we can turn this around?

lying, venal chickenshit coward racist

You mean Corbyn?

news.sky.com/story/12-shocking-claims-of-abuse-in-leaked-labour-antisemitism-dossier-11879053

Jeremy Corbyn has made Labour a "welcoming refuge" for antisemitism and the party is "no longer a safe space for Jewish people", a dossier submitted to the human rights watchdog warns.

The Jewish Labour Movement (JLM) document, which was leaked on Friday, reveals sworn statements from 70 present and former Labour staffers which will be given to the Equalities and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) inquiry into antisemitism in the party.

Labour is only the second ever political party to have been probed by the EHRC, after the British National Party (BNP).

Compiled over 13 months up until November, the 53-page dossier concludes the Labour Party is "no longer a safe space for Jewish people", with a "relentless flow" of antisemitic incidents.

YouJustDoYou · 06/12/2019 12:02

Hysterical much?

MaxNormal · 06/12/2019 12:06

CendrillonSings you're pretty tireless in your spew of propaganda aren't you? I hope they're paying you well.

CendrillonSings · 06/12/2019 12:07

Not having to live under a far-left, antisemitic cult is payment enough for me!

pettswoodmumof3 · 06/12/2019 12:08

Well I have decided that JC and BJ are as bad as each other! They seem to be on opposite ends and everyone I know is voting for the party they are less scared of (or just ignoring party politics and going for the MP they like). It is "fear politics" and I have started to think they are both being deliberately extreme to tap into this fear politics and to get people to actually vote/get them excited enough to show up 12 December. Neither of the 2 will carry out most of what they say so you should all try and relax.

YABU. If Corbyn & his cronies take power there will be mass unemployment, a crash in house prices. The NHS will collapse as no nurses will want to work on skivvy wages whilst their feckless entitled neighbours on benefits will be getting the same income for doing sod all
Links please - otherwise it is bollocks

PeninsulaPanic · 06/12/2019 12:10

Having done Auchswitz recently

Is that like doing the London Eye, the Eiffel Tower, the Inca Trail?

I can't even... Hmm

PinkCrayon · 06/12/2019 12:13

Yanbu, It is scary how many fall for their rubbish, I mean they are the ones who have been in control of our country for years and it's an absolute mess. I can't understand why anyone would think voting for Boris would be a good thing to do.

ArthurtheCatsHumanSlave · 06/12/2019 12:15

The Tories are going to do nothing, zero, nada about climate change

A quick google will enlighten you. UK has done more in the last few years to reduce carbon emissions than any other European country.

Faffette · 06/12/2019 12:17

More scared of Corbyn getting into power? What is wrong with you lot???

Faffette · 06/12/2019 12:18

How utterly gullible you have to be to think Corbyn would be worse. Do you not question anything you read? I can't even get my head around how mindless that is.

ArthurtheCatsHumanSlave · 06/12/2019 12:21

120,000 people have died as a result of austerity. How can anyone vote Conservative with that knowledge?

Please, please, please, stop quoting this rubbish. It is absolutely not true. Death figures have not increased in the last few years. This figure was extrapolated from a study which was looking at why the increase in life expectancy had stalled. They pushed forward the expected extra years of life, if the trend had continued. It didn't. It has stayed broadly the same now for a couple of years, so the hypothesis was that we have "lost" a "potential" 120,000 lives due to the unexpected stalling of life expectancy. This is mainly due to old folk reaching the end of the their medical options.

derxa · 06/12/2019 12:27

If you are disabled or poor then the last 10 years have been like 1930s Germany. Do you really believe what you write? I'm a remainer and possible Lib Dem voter not a Boris fan. Do you really not know how poor people were in 1930s Germany?

OceanVillage · 06/12/2019 12:28

Yanbu

SeamusFinnigan · 06/12/2019 12:29

Can I just ask, are the posters who are taking the piss out of the OP's comment on ash in Australia and people being unable to breathe deliberately misunderstanding or gaslighting? Have you not seen the terrible natural disasters and fires occurring there at the moment? The OP's point is surely that that is going on in Australia, and that bearing in mind the problems caused by the climate crisis all over the world, it is terrifying that the UK might be about to hand a majority to a government that does not give a shit about the climate crisis and, as others have said, is full of self-serving liars who want to line their own pockets?

Just cannot fathom how anyone could think the Tories are a good option anymore, and how anyone could be 'more scared' of JC.

Lockshunkugel · 06/12/2019 12:30

I’m more scared at the thought of him not winning.

I hope Labour get rid of Corbyn after next week and become the decent opposition that the country needs. They’d have a much better chance of winning a future election with a sensible, moderate leader.

Faffette · 06/12/2019 12:31

@Lockshunkugel

Yes, let's get a right Labour party. That should do it.

Faffette · 06/12/2019 12:31

A right wing labour party even.

SeamusFinnigan · 06/12/2019 12:32

By the way, I do think Labour should have a better leader than JC but just cannot understand why anyone would consider him a worse option than Johnson and would not be in a hurry to get the Tories out by whatever means necessary. Theyve had a decade and look where we are!

MarshaBradyo · 06/12/2019 12:32

What is worse for the economy? Labour or Cons. Any neutral economists having a say.

kalinkafoxtrot45 · 06/12/2019 12:33

I cannot believe anyone with any kind of conscience could vote for BJ and his cohorts. Unfortunately the rest of them aren’t great either, but another Tory term will just hammer the poor and disadvantaged further. BJ is vile.

PeninsulaPanic · 06/12/2019 12:34

Yeh, only comfortable when the Labour Party are aping the Tories in thought, word and deed Confused

Blitzen2 · 06/12/2019 12:35

This is the main reason I’m looking into private healthcare for my family and have been seriously considering moving abroad.

Saw something online today where a Tory candidate said people with additional needs shouldn’t be paid as much because they don’t understand money properly.

How anyone can vote for these monsters is beyond me. They are the cruelest party out and pushing people to their deaths.

Answerthequestion · 06/12/2019 12:35

Far far more scared of Corbyn getting in. The best thing that can happen is that BJ gets on, Labour get rid of corbyn, someone sensible and actually competent becomes the leader of labour, the conservatives cock up sp that we have an election and then a proper sensible labour government come into power.

Won’t happen. So let’s just hope we can keep corbyn out.

Faffette · 06/12/2019 12:35

@MarshaBradyo

Well for starters, we might avoid Brexit with Labour. I think we have a pretty good idea of what is best for the economy.
