Sorry wasn't sure where else to post not quite an AIBU, but I could make it into one I suppose.

Just interested to know on average how much sleep you get every night? How old you are (if you want to disclose) and your sex (again if you want to disclose).

I will start I am a female, 26 and get on average 7.5 hours a night. Is this unreasonable in your opinion?

56 female actual sleep about 5-6 hours but not altogether...hence on MN at this silly hour !!!

Lana08 · 29/11/2019 03:00

34 year old female.

Currently breastfeeding 3 month old DD. It can change from time to time but seems we are getting into a bit of a routine. Bed at 9.30pm first feed around 3.30am which is amazing for us. My DS was up feeding every 2 hours without fail for a whole year!!!

DD and the rest of the house would sleep on but DS is up at 5am every single morning. He also can wake up during the night a couple nights a week.

So 6 hours on a good night. Miss my sleep but they are definitely worth it.

If I fall asleep will sleep minimum 10hours

I often skip a night’s sleep & the 2nd night will then crash for about 14 hours

I survive by setting an obscene amount of alarms & catching up on sleep whenever possible

I have bipolar & insomnia is a part of that so am aware this is not exactly normal.

Female, 33. Usually 7-8 hours but have a 3 week old so I feel like I've not slept since I had her. Realistically 4 hours max.

I can currently hear colours I'm so tiredEnvy not bloody envy

I'm 48, female, with a neurological illness that makes me v tired and on tablets that sedate me.

Usually I sleep about 10 hours and am still tired. Quite perky this afternoon as I slept 12.5 hours.

I wish I didn't sleep my life away!

About 6 hours. It's shit, I still wake up at feed times even though we're way past that.

Here's mine. I'm 36, no kids, sleep alone but have one demanding cat who wakes me several times in the night. My main problem is disciplining myself to close down the ipad and go to sleep. I normally sleep about midnight to after 8am and am then late for work!

How much sleep do you get?
KenzoBaby · 30/11/2019 13:20

Don't know if the fitbit graph is that clear - I get about 8 hours most nights but sleep about 10+ on the weekends. And still feel tired. Poor eating habits, not enough exercise and work stress.

troppibambini · 30/11/2019 13:21

8-10 a night.
I feel tired if it's 8. Ten is my ideal.

80sMum · 30/11/2019 13:27
