To think three 14 inch pizzas is too much between 5?

DH has asked me to pick up pizza for dinner. There are 5 of us (4 adults and one child) and he's asked me to get three 14 inch ones. AIBU to think this is way too much pizza for the 5 of us?? I get him wanting me to get 3 due to different preferences but surely we could just get 3 10 inch pizzas?

What would you get for 5 people if it was a choice of 10 inch or 14 inch?

The OP bought them last night. THE PIZZAS HAVE ALREADY BEEN EATEN! It was the right amount - they had some left over. RTFT.

Incidentally, why are all of you people ordering Dominoes? Can't you get anything better than that? The owner is a horrible right-wing fascist and the pizza is garbage.

If it were me I'd get 4 x 14 inch and a 10inch for the child🤷‍♀️

I live very near 2 pizza takeaways, I see the folk who go in there regularly, I cant stand pizzas, they are so "heavy" on the gut, but then I couldnt eat a burger in a bun either, (not that I eat burgers) I cant bare the feeeling of having eaten too much, its unpleasant. My DD who does eat pizzas tells me, her DP, who is a big bloke, and 2 kids, (both of whome have far bigger portion sizes than me) share a 14 inch, one slice each, plus garlic bread. Recent programme on TV I forget which one, with a dietician, says that pizzas contain, hoof and hair from animals. I make my own when the DgKs are staying with me.
