Just that.
Although he is being asked the wrong questions.

OP posts:

Yes @oreomum !

If you worked at Pizza Express Woking you'd have gone home like

OOO you'll never guess, there was a kids party today and one of the kids was PRINCESS BEATRICE and PRINCE ANDREW brought her!

Imagine THAT in WOKING

Really wouldn't be hard to disprove

hettie · 17/11/2019 00:27

Ummme, wasn't his whole schtick that he "let the side down (ie the family) by being friends with Epstein after his initial conviction?
What's gobsmaking about that is his failure to understand that hanging out with a convicted paedophile was morally repugnant just in and of itself and that you shouldn't do it period (not that you now have regrets because you can see that it brings the family name into disrepute)

He can’t have been unaware that Epstein was actually convicted of sexual offences (or should I say “unbecoming” behaviour) a few years ago, but he met up with him him afterwards regardless.

Hinchunup · 17/11/2019 00:30

Can something be done about this man? Why is he allowed this gas lighting opportunity? What is wrong with our justice system?

Butterymuffin · 17/11/2019 00:32

What he must be thinking, given the mealy-mouthed non-denial, is of the likelihood that someone, somewhere, has a more incriminating photo or video than anything that's yet been made public.

Alsohuman · 17/11/2019 00:32

Is his comment about his inability to sweat plausible, or was that just a way to shoehorn in a reference to the Falklands (deflection: brave soldier prince etc.)?

It’s exactly the kind of embellishment that makes you think he’s over egging it.

nicenewdusters · 17/11/2019 00:36

As mentioned upthread, interesting (and sickening) that he decided to end the friendship as it was no longer appropriate for them to be seen together. Not that he didn't want anything to do with an active paedophile. No disgust or shock, just PR considerations.

Lots of self soothing in the interview, rubbing his hands and fingers. Quite common when you're uncomfortable and feel threatened.

DonKeyshot · 17/11/2019 00:45

Anyone else find it curious that he went for a walk with Epstein in Central Park a place that's not noted for its hidden microphones presumably to tell him that he couldn't be besties with him any more?

Back in the day Ghislaine Maxwell wouldn't have been allowed to get within a mile of him.

I'd like to know more about his 'work' in Kazakhstan.

BerwickLad · 17/11/2019 00:48

Lizards don't have sweat glands.

Just saying.

JemimaTab · 17/11/2019 00:52

That business of his house sale to some dodgy (Kazakh?) billionaire for way over the asking price could do with looking at too. That kind of transaction normally raises a load of red flags.

VanyaHargreeves · 17/11/2019 00:55

The contempt he shows her at the end when she asks if he has anything else he'd especially like to say

Such arrogance

The last exchange convinced me he's guilty as fuck

ilovesooty · 17/11/2019 01:09

I'm not commenting on whether he's guilty.

He's monumentally stupid and arrogant.

Wiltinglillies · 17/11/2019 01:10

BerwickLad you bear me to it!
I just thought he looked like such a bad liar. It was ridiculous. His way of backing up his paper thin story he says he didn't get anyone a drink because he doesn't drink and didn't know where the bar was. When would he ever go and queue at a bar? He'd have someone serving at his table. Total nonsense.
He claims he wasn't close friends but felt it necessary to travel to New York to personally tell Epstein he couldn't remain friends and then stayed for four days as it was convenient?
Utter Nonce Sense.

Wiltinglillies · 17/11/2019 01:10

bear = beat

NoSquirrels · 17/11/2019 01:16

*Where is the healthy debate?

Well, as this thread wasn’t even begun with anything approaching a justification for the title, I can’t imsgine why that might be...Confused

Seriously, what a crock of goady shit, OP.

She didn't get so capable just overnight.

Mjlp · 17/11/2019 01:24

YABU. According to him, not one but two photos are fake and he went to see Epstein to tell him he didn't want to see him - and had to stay a few days to do this. Yeah right!

Wiltinglillies · 17/11/2019 01:25

Just because she wasn't drugged and chained to a bed doesn't mean it wasn't abuse. Look at the power imbalance. She was being pimped.
LotteLupin would you like me to find a ducking stool?

StrangeLookingParasite · 17/11/2019 01:27

I just do not think it is plausible that the allegations are true.

Oh? Why?

He believed, and apparently continues to believe, he is untouchable.

1forAll74 · 17/11/2019 01:36

I am not supporting this so called Prince at all. Not that he needs supporting at all, because he will be able to wriggle out of anything unsavoury,if this was to be the case.

A lot of people do not know much about him really.as he has always been known to be Andy air miles, and always going abroad with his job, whatever it is.

Some people, have never really adhered to him at all,as he hasn't been involved with the UK so much, like other royals have been.So he has been a bit unknown about what he could have got involved in,in his life of travelling and meeting up with all sorts of people.

I don't think that he will be unduly worried about all these issues at all though.

Duck90 · 17/11/2019 01:36

This stuff about her being enslaved - she looks pretty happy in all the photos, and seems very much in charge now. I don't actually think she was such a victim. She didn't get as cash able as she is now overnight ... it's who she's always been.

Awful example of victim blaming. Smiling in a photo doesn’t mean someone is enjoying themselves.

Maybe he thought he could “do a Diana” and win people’s hearts and minds. The world has changed.
