Just that.
Although he is being asked the wrong questions.

I don't understand why he did the interview or, to be more exact, I don't understand why the Queen changed her mind about allowing him to do it.

I wonder if there's a bigger Royal story coming along so they did this either to overshadow the other story or they did this because they know the next story will overshadow the interview. Or perhaps inspired by Harry and Meghan, Andrew threatened to go off and arrange the interview himself without any Palace oversight.

GeraldineFangedVagine · 16/11/2019 23:52

Don’t you all realise his problem is he’s TOO honourable. Poor honourable chap, nowhere else to stay with access to vast wealth, apart from a convicted peadophiles house. Of course he’s also very kind. So that’s nice.

JemimaTab · 16/11/2019 23:53

I also don’t like the way he has dragged his daughter into his alibi.

VanyaHargreeves · 16/11/2019 23:53

Allegedly he is the Queens favourite

She probably believes him fully and thought he would acquit himself well, not make a complete nuclear waste man of himself

Gardai · 16/11/2019 23:55

It’s awful that Megan has been ripped apart whilst that old slimy fecker is still fleecing us.
Prince my arse.

Alsohuman · 16/11/2019 23:58

So it was you who made his shoes so shiny, OP.

MyGoodTimes · 16/11/2019 23:58

So gullible. Calling the actions of a convicted paedophile as "unbecoming" and you believe he is innocent. Hmm

VanyaHargreeves · 17/11/2019 00:00

You had the reputation Party Prince?

Erm, well, and well, and well I've never well and erm well again felt the need to PARTAY ConfusedGrin

Gardai · 17/11/2019 00:00

Ladylanka rhymes with Ivanka or wanka 😲

Hedgehogparty · 17/11/2019 00:00

Pizza express Woking reviews going well.

His arrogance presumably made him assume he’d be believed....

Anotherblokelurking · 17/11/2019 00:01

Had to laugh a few months ago when “friendly sources” trying to divert attention said he had slept with a thousand women but would never sleep with anyone under-age!!! A 1000 women in 40 years would mean an average of 2 new sexual partners a month including all through his marriage! And if he’s that sexually experienced surely he would have realised what was going on? Over privileged entitled mysogynistic tosser. Sorry, I don’t believe him or support him.

Gardai · 17/11/2019 00:02

He probably thinks women should be besides themselves to get a ride from his highness. Boak.

SummerBreezemakesmefeelfine · 17/11/2019 00:03

Hilarious thread. OP must have known what the outcome of her post would be.

Is that you Emily Maitlis? Good work.

citcatgirl45 · 17/11/2019 00:04

People in this country hate and will always hate the royal family so you will have very few people on his side. I thought he came over as very genuine and I don't believe he did what the media are saying with that girl. Trouble is as was so long ago it is going to be extremely difficult to prove one way or another.

oreomum · 17/11/2019 00:07

why is no one asking the women why they were trafficked ? Why did they not walk away but carried on working for Epstein? IMO they have questions to answer

Epstein had a private island in the Caribbean. Trafficked women don't have their passport or money. How could they escape? Don't you think that he had security and other staff watch the girls?

Flaskfan · 17/11/2019 00:09

citcatgirl I've missed the last bus home and I'm really skint. Can you lend me twenty quid for a taxi?

CJDoesTheJackal · 17/11/2019 00:12

I didn't like the way he kept saying "you have to understand" and "you have to see that". Manipulative and persuasive language.

Also pretty sure he actually said sth like "ha, there you go, medical grounds so I couldn't have done it" re the sweating.

He showed no disgust or disdain. Just said things like "it would not have been appropriate to be seen with him". WTAF. So all about appearances. Nothing to do with not WANTING to be seen with him.

It was awful.

CJDoesTheJackal · 17/11/2019 00:14

And never mind the Party Prince, back in the day he was known as Randy Andy.

Stroller15 · 17/11/2019 00:15

@LadyLanka what are the right questions in your opinion?

Rosehip10 · 17/11/2019 00:19

@citcatgirl45 Are you American? It always puzzles me this American obsession and gushing with the British Royal family - you can take them if you want.

oreomum · 17/11/2019 00:21

It's highly likely that you could track people who worked that day at Pizza Express and remember him turning up,
There must be a photo of his daughter(S) at this party. I have a child born in 2001 and owned a digital camera then. In the sort of circles that RF run in, their equipment would be better and they could at least prove that his dd(s) attended such a party on that day.

If he'd said that he can't remember all of his sexual partners then the public would have bought that. The party alibi doesn't discount that he might have had dinner and gone clubbing later the same evening. I personally struggle to believe that there's no evidence that he could use to prove that he was in Woking at the time even if it's through his security team's movements on the day.

mummyyessy · 17/11/2019 00:24

He's as guilty as sin!

JemimaTab · 17/11/2019 00:24

Is his comment about his inability to sweat plausible, or was that just a way to shoehorn in a reference to the Falklands (deflection: brave soldier prince etc.)?

BoreOfWhabylon · 17/11/2019 00:25

Well, he's certainly demonstrated spectacular lack of judgement in his choice of friends and his decision to give this interview. Whether or not he was telling the truth I don't know.

It should be fairly easy to prove where he was at any given time, as someone upthread has said, his security detail will have logs.

And, while he might have been unaware of Epstein's behaviour, I'm pretty sure the security services would have made it their business to know.
