Just that.
Although he is being asked the wrong questions.

OP posts:
RaymondStopThat · 16/11/2019 23:01

why is no one asking the women why they were trafficked ? Why did they not walk away but carried on working for Epstein? IMO they have questions to answer

What exactly are you inferring? Surely not that the victims were to blame in any way. The whole issue with trafficking is that the trafficker makes it incredibly difficult for victims to escape.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 16/11/2019 23:01

Interesting to see where his charities stand on this come Monday

A good point ...

VeryGenuinequestions · 16/11/2019 23:02

Can't belive he's done it actually..
I'm getting the same uncomfortable feeling I got when watching other guilty people on media. Body language experts are going to be all over this!.. Eyes flitting, foot twitching, eyes going up and left....

All about ghislene who is also dreadful..

flowerpowerr · 16/11/2019 23:04

I can’t imagine what he hoped to achieve from this. Is he so arrogant that he honestly thought the public would buy his (frankly ridiculous) explanations? Of course he is, but I’m surprised his PR advisors didn’t know better.

Hedgehogparty · 16/11/2019 23:05

That interview has done him no favors at all.
Can remember pizza express visit but the photo wasnt enough to jog his memory?
Convenient medical condition too....

pallasathena · 16/11/2019 23:08

Dreadful man...republic anyone?

BloggersBlog · 16/11/2019 23:08

I loved his David Brent moment his lapse in judgement was being 'too honourable' which is why he stayed at pervs house Grin how Emily M didn't choke when he said that I'll never know

WagtailRobin · 16/11/2019 23:10

He is a snake and has been allowed since birth to rely on privilege to get/do as he pleases.

I literally don't understand how anyone can support these people!

heath48 · 16/11/2019 23:13

He was lying through his back teeth, obvious from his body language.

Dirty toe rag.

loseyourself · 16/11/2019 23:18

how, now, can anyone prove or disprove the allegations against the Duke of York?

well usually there is a court trial when evidence has been gathered and everyone is innocent until proven guilty. So any allegations can be proven/disproven or not meet the standard for conviction; he has not even been brought in for questioning has he? Why not?

Grimbles · 16/11/2019 23:19

Oh well OP, I can only assume by your silence that you support PA in his friendship with a convicted paedophile Shock

Hedgehogparty · 16/11/2019 23:21

He said it was “honorable” to stay at the home of a convicted sex offender.
Clearly coached and rehearsed but unbelievable

LittleFishSwim · 16/11/2019 23:26

The timing on the clock in the background told a different story of the interview, I think it has been chopped up until the palace were happy with how it told a story I would like to see the unedited version and how many breaks were taken, who was there to ‘advise’ then I would feel more informed.

chipsandgin · 16/11/2019 23:29

I’m going to presume you are a big supporter of Jimmy Saville and Gary Glitter too OP? Is it a special club you belong to?

Sistercharlie · 16/11/2019 23:30

The entire interview had the feel of someone who has "gone rogue" from his advisors, or whose advisors are happy to let him throw himself on his own sword.

An appallingly arrogant and stupid move on his part. He's opened himself to even more scrutiny than before and gave lots of answers that presumably can be fact checked.

I thought the "honourable" comment about himself was particularly bone-headed. No one who is genuinely honourable describes themselves that way. And genuinely honourable people don't tend to be interviewed on national TV about their connections to a convicted paedophile in the first place!

If it can be proven he is guilty then I hope he is prosecuted.

VanyaHargreeves · 16/11/2019 23:31

Look at the online reviews for Pizza Express Woking.

Dead Grin

VanyaHargreeves · 16/11/2019 23:34

@Sistercharlie

The DOY is apparently number one most hated of the RF by "The Staff" wouldn't surprise me if he got told he'd be marvellous and stroked his ego whilst knowing he'd make a fool of himself.

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 16/11/2019 23:35

I'm reading the reviews and the Twitter threads on Pizza Express Woking and I'm in actual tears of laughter.

Flaskfan · 16/11/2019 23:38

Yeah, if you think this thread is bad, you should probably avoid Twitter.

1Morewineplease · 16/11/2019 23:41

I’m assuming that you’re a press secretary from the Royal Household.
Just have a look at Twitter.
The ‘Prince’ had no knowledge of the photo but seemed to know which room it was taken in.
Just look at his rapid eye movements.
Just listen to his rehearsed responses.
He felt that Epstein’s behaviour was “unbecoming.” As Maitliss said...” unbecoming?.. he was a sex offender.”
The interview was an absolute car crash for Randy Andy. Whoever suggested it should don a set of antlers and go galloping in the Highlands for the next ‘Royal Shoot!’

Roussette · 16/11/2019 23:42

OP you are sounding very misinforned.

I don't know what you're not sure of. He knew his 'friend' was a convicted sex offender, he - as a member of the royal family - still chose to stay with him, mix with him, his ex wife took money off this man and yet you don't know.

Educate yourself!

EmpressoftheMundane · 16/11/2019 23:43

Poor man had zero self awareness. He’s been in a bubble all his life.

My husband and daughter believed him! Confused Both are clever, neither is Street smart.

Honourable to stay as a guest at some ones house?

Not exactly saving a baby from a fire there mate!

A straightforward hunting party.
Are there any other kind?

A four day house party with small dinner party for ten.
Of course.

It’s very rare for me to go to a pizza express in Woking.
Indeed!

The man truly lives in a different world. He definitely slept with her. He may of thought she was 19 and actually wanted to be with him, he’s that naive and deluded.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 16/11/2019 23:47

Just look at his rapid eye movements

Impossible to miss wasn't it? I'm not much use with the body language thing, but even I noticed that

So it's going to be interesting when those who really understand it start up ...

JemimaTab · 16/11/2019 23:47

He has always been a pompous arrogant free-loading boor, even before all this. I’ve never heard anything positive about the man or his character in at least 30 years. I would love to know what is really going on here because I’m pretty sure it’s a LOT more than he is owning up to. I don’t think there is any way he would have done the TV interview of his own accord, so he must be feeling the pressure from the Palace (and, I would hope, law enforcement whether here or in the US).

Puzzledandpissedoff · 16/11/2019 23:49

A straightforward hunting party
Are there any other kind?

I guess that could depend on what the hunters consider the prey to be ...
