Theres a reason the slug is doing that interview, but amazing how much he and his cohorts have managed to suppress it all until now, money money money...
To support him ? You’d need your head examined and your moral barometer checked.

I think it is perfectly possible that the Duke of York was unaware of the goings on.
Absolutely, just because someones been tried and convicted as a paedophile doesn't mean the Duke of York should have thought he was a paedophile. Would have been a crazy conclusion for him to make.

why is no one asking the women why they were trafficked ? Why did they not walk away but carried on working for Epstein? IMO they have questions to answer.

Why are you deflecting the guilt from Epstein (or Andrew) to the girls?

If this is a genuine questions, google. It took me 2 secs to find this

www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/09/21/british-victim-sex-offender-jeffrey-epstein-speaks-ordeal/

A couple of extracts:
slowly groomed by him until she was completely vulnerable and defenceless.

For me, I was involved in that kind of lifestyle growing up and so I thought I could cope. And I thought I could handle it,” she said, only to add: "By the time I was being raped, it was too late."

OP, the is no way he didn't know about Epstein's conviction and plea deal when he last stayed with him. His conviction was widely reported. His security detail would have briefed him and he must have overruled any objections.

Well I'm an insignificant middle aged woman living in a rural village in a backwater of the UK and I had heard of Jeffrey Epstein and his unsavoury background. It seems weird that one of his mates wouldn't know about him.

I'm sure that Jeffrey Epstein's suicide came as a complete surprise to Jeffrey Epstein. He had too much knowledge about too many people to be allowed to bargain with it at any point in his sentence.

DoY had an appalling reputation in the Navy. I have yet to meet anyone who served with him and had any respect for him, unlike his siblings and nephews. The only good thing that he could be have said to have done is the courage he showed as an Exocet decoy in the Falklands but his personality remained the same. Self-serving, pompous, do-you-know who-I-am, shit, unlike, for example, his sister who turned up at the PoW's ship 'to see my brother'; they didn't even recognise her at first. His later career all seems to centre around embarrassing his family and country by trying to get his own cut out of trade deals and mixing with very dodgy people. No wonder the civil servants wanted him removed.

A final point:
how, now, can anyone prove or disprove the allegations against the Duke of York?

Really? Support him in being a paedophile or at best a man who had sex with young girls who are basically being sex trafficked. No thanks. I’ve got kids so, you know, not on board.

Well true ladylanka but we have a strong amount of facts which do not take Poirot to deduce the man is capable given his entitlement.
He is arrogant, always has been.

Report
chipsandgin · 16/11/2019 22:56

As for prove or disprove - he was friends with the pervert, was there when it happened and has a woman who alleges he had sex with her aged 17 - or do you think she’s lying & if so on what basis (considering the fact he was there and was the perverts friend, are we to assume he locked himself in a cupboard, put his fingers in his ears and sang la la la?)

Considering he was confirmed to be there it seems unlikely....love to hear your take on it though OP!?

Presumably a police interview would be a start.

If you facilitate or arrange the travel of a person so that they can then be raped or sexually exploited, whether by you or someone else, that is trafficking. Even if the victim originally consented to the travel.

It does not require that person to be kidnapped or sold or physically restrained. It literally just means that somebody else transported and then raped or assaulted them.

If you don't believe me, go and read the legislation for yourself.

He continued to see Epstein after the latter had served time in prison for procuring under age girls for prostitution. Hard to deny that he didn't know what was going on. He was sentenced in 2008, the picture of them walking in the park is from 2011.
