I do wonder how many 40yr old men when introduced to a 17yr old would want to have sex with them, even if the girl seemed interested?

Wouldn't it occur to most men that it would be pretty unsavoury/exploitative?

EmCamB · 17/11/2019 09:22

Yes, he's so innocent. He only stayed at the guy's house, was photographed and has a reputation for 'romancing' the ladies.
Totally innocent. Never been caught. LOL

Tvstar · 17/11/2019 09:23

one of your own daughters lived there at the time
His daughters were 11and 13 at the time!

Tvstar I think he could have stretched to paying for a hotel no?

JacquesHammer · 17/11/2019 09:36

@ Tvstar

Can you please confirm what you think a “trafficked sex slave” should look like.

Sashkin · 17/11/2019 09:40

So Vanya when a paedophile or rapists relatives say they didn't know you automatically disbelieve them.

Well if they’ve been convicted and served time and the family member still denies all knowledge and carries on like nothing's happened, then yes.

Ragglesnaggle · 17/11/2019 09:42

"His daughters were 11and 13 at the time!"

Not in 2010 when he stayed with Epstein in New York they weren't, which is when the pp was referring to.

Sashkin · 17/11/2019 09:43

I don’t think he took his daughters to “Paedophile Island”. Just went there on his own, repeatedly, and hung out with the young teenage girls who just happened to be working there as totally above-board masseuses.

I think, though, that Prince Andrew is being pursued as a high-profile figure, who brings extra publicity in the US by being Meghan's Uncle to boot

😂😂😂 Meghan's uncle 😂😂😂

Oh my fucking god. The defenders on this thread are very naïve (being nice) or absolutely thick as fuck.

Tvstar · 17/11/2019 09:48

France could issue a European arrest warrant if they wanted, they dot have to wait for him to go there!!

SmileEachDay · 17/11/2019 09:49

Meghan Markle’s uncle?

PLOT TWIST!

Does Harry know?

Trentadoodoo · 17/11/2019 09:52

I started watching the programme with no bias or preconception about PA.

A few minutes in, all I can say is that he makes me skin crawl. Envy < not envy. What a pukebag.

Anyhow, he was assistant to something involving Prince Andrew. He came back and said 'that man is gay. He was looking at me and whinnying like a horse'.

Nice try, but I don’t believe a word of it.

Tvstar · 17/11/2019 09:59

In 2010 eugenie and Beatrice were at university in the uk

churchandstate · 17/11/2019 09:59

I didn’t believe him. Too many of his answers were fluffy or weirdly worded, or just didn’t engage with the core moral question. For example, why would he feel he owed a four day meeting with a convicted sex offender in order to straightforwardly tell him he didn’t want to be associated with him anymore? That’s a text message, or a quick phone call. Andrew’s answer was completely inadequate, covering up, presumably, the real content of his conversation with Epstein.

What would he need to talk to him about? Hmm. Well, I imagine he did want to tell Epstein that he couldn’t be associated with him anymore, but I imagine he also wanted to impress upon him the importance of the public not finding out about the sex parties. That’s why he had to stay with him, because Epstein has enough dirt on him to remodel the Western Front.

www.theguardian.com/politics/video/2015/jan/06/boris-johnson-defends-prince-andrew-video
Interesting to see how effusive Mr Johnson was in his praise of Prince Andrew in this one minute video back in 2015, when Andrew was already coming under immense scrutiny. I’d read quotes before bet never saw the actual interview which is far more revealing: Johnson wasn’t really interested in the slightest in any possibility of wrongdoing and just kept banging on about what great work he does and what a wonderful asset he was to the country. The subtext I got from that loud and clear was “he’s an important and high class individual (like me) - what he gets up to with in his “private life” should be of no concern to you plebs”.

Tvstar · 17/11/2019 10:01

I only post because I despise 'fake news' and the media acting as judge jury and executioner to a man who hasn't even been charged with anything

Sashkin · 17/11/2019 10:01

The first accusations against him were about 20 years ago, when Meghan was still in high school. It is amazing how many people haven’t even read the Wikipedia article on Jeffrey Epstein.

JacquesHammer · 17/11/2019 10:01

You mean judging a woman who doesn’t look enough like she’s been trafficked?

churchandstate · 17/11/2019 10:03

And of course he couldn’t telephone Epstein because Epstein would naturally be recording the call, and who knows what might have been said? He needed to see him face to face and presumably he needed his security team to check Epstein wasn’t wearing a recording device.

Rosehip10 · 17/11/2019 10:03

Fergie is an airhead who would defend anything that could have an impact on money coming into her pocket.

Cam77 · 17/11/2019 10:05

Why not just say “I don’t know any more about this story than you, but as far as I’m concerned people are innocent of any suspicion until proven guilty, but let’s wait and see what emerges.” Why the need for the gleaming star pupil endorsement? Has Johnson ever displayed sound judgement in anything or toward anyone?
