I only post because I despise 'fake news' and the media acting as judge jury and executioner to a man who hasn't even been charged with anything

Epstein was charged, convicted, served time, and was then arrested and charged again for further offences. But you don’t think his victims “look trafficked enough”.

I don’t know what circles you move in, but to me, troubled sixteen year old girls being flown around the world by unrelated sixty year old men, and then “happening” to end up having sex with those sixty year old men and their friends, is not totally normal nothing to see here. It is trafficking.

Cam77 · 17/11/2019 10:08

It’s this sort of absolutely typical “establishment linking arms” displayed so beautifully by Johnson in that interview which causes untold damage to us “normal” people who don’t have a safety net of billionaires, media friends, lawyers, politicians etc to fight our corner. They can get away with anything.

i feel sorry for Eugenie and Beatrice

cakeisalwaystheanswer · 17/11/2019 10:11

The RF should never, ever, ever speak. They have survived this long because they rarely do. It is no co-incidence that the whole show nearly collapsed after the Charles/Diana interviews. And now we have "I'm too honourable not to hang out with convicted paedeophiles" Andrew making a complete twat of himself on camera following the ridiculous display by Harry the other week. Their days are numbered. Long live the republic.
And you've gotta love Fergie bless her. Is there any depth she won't stoop to just to keep her meal ticket.

EleanorReally · 17/11/2019 10:11

Hang on, i feel sorry for all the Royal Family with wayward Andy

Mrsjayy · 17/11/2019 10:12

Urgh I can't stand the term fake news all I always hear it saidin a trump voice and it loses all meaning. Prince Andrew might not be guilty of any crime but him trying to squirm his way out of the whole sordid thing just shows he has not one ounce of decency he just expected servitude from these gatherings and now it came back to bite him he is beyond revolting and just as guilty asthe rest of them.

Gardai · 17/11/2019 10:13

Yes, the kids have had to put up with Fergie, who let’s face it hasn’t shown herself to be the most honest, law abiding or credible human being so far. I think she’s as corrupt as Andrew and they are codependent in their corruption.

Cam77 · 17/11/2019 10:14

@Sashkin
If you’re a postman or a cleaner it’ll land you ten years in jail and the public will applaud. If you’re an establishment figure then the girl was “blinded by celebrity” and a segment of the public will shake their head at their loose morals while sympathizing (Johnson in 2015 - “of course I have sympathy for him”) with the establishment figure.

Mrsjayy · 17/11/2019 10:19

Didn't Eugene have a podcast about modern day slavery /trafficking did it ever get aired ?

ScreamingLadySutch · 17/11/2019 10:23

Nice try, but I don’t believe a word of it.

Fair enough, @Dongdingdong

BlueEyedBengal · 17/11/2019 10:23

It's the usual story, someone privileged and spoilt with no understanding of the lower classes takes advantage and uses what's given to him with no thought to what harm is done as long as he is happy. He will take, take, take and when vilified by the public will explain it thinking we are so stupid that he's believed. There is no defence, he knew everything and now needs to stop thinking he's untouchable and stop telling fairytales and take responsibility.

Sashkin · 17/11/2019 10:24

Cam77 I wish that was true but the Rotherham scandal showed that regardless of who is doing the abusing, people are happy to write off even ten year old victims of CSA as “jailbait”, or just slags.

iklboo · 17/11/2019 10:27

Jimmy Savile was never charged with anything.

Well, no. He was dead.

isabellerossignol · 17/11/2019 10:28

If he had done something illegal, why hasn't he been prosecuted?

Surely no one can be naive enough to believe that all criminals are prosecuted? From criminal damage, to burglary, to sex offennces to serious organised crime - all across the world, every hour of every day people are committing crime that they will never be prosecuted for.

Tvstar · 17/11/2019 10:31

Mostly because the police don't know who dunnit

Novemberblu3s · 17/11/2019 10:33

the UK is now a country where rape is de facto legal. about 1% of rapes end up on a conviction.

it means nothing if a someone who is accused of rape is not charged or convicted.

Tvstar · 17/11/2019 10:34

Which authority has called 10 year old rape victims 'slags'?

Biggobyboo · 17/11/2019 10:34

Time to get rid of the entire lot.

Novemberblu3s · 17/11/2019 10:34

If he had done something illegal, why hasn't he been prosecuted?

do you ever read the news? Confused

doublebarrellednurse · 17/11/2019 10:39

one of your own daughters lived there at the time
*
His daughters were 11and 13 at the time!*

They were born in 1988 and 1990 so in 2010 they were not 11 / 13.

As much as I want to believe the 90s were only 10 years ago they were not.

Or you could take my post out of context to fit your argument.

Again. What does a trafficked teenager look like? You've not answered that bit.

Biggobyboo · 17/11/2019 10:39

Tvstar - assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/401119/46966_Rotherham_Report_PRINT.pdf page 47. The whole document is a bit of an eye opener.

IcedPurple · 17/11/2019 10:40

I know this is entirely trivial but is it just me who thought the big painting behind Pervy Andy and Emily was wonky? Could BP not stretch to a bubble level from the pound shop?

Or is it a subtle symbol of the extreme crookedness of the interviewee?

Tvstar · 17/11/2019 10:42

I would have thought if you were being forced into prostitution against your will you would be miserable, inane to sleep properly, bad skin from stress, dead eyes. That girl looks the absolute picture of heath and happiness
