Parent and child parking spaces

AdaColeman · 06/11/2019 16:26

Any thread that starts "Posting here for traffic"!

HeresMe · 06/11/2019 16:27

Any Ones that are clearly not AIBU questions,Posting for traffic , no idiot post in correct forum.

GinDaddy · 06/11/2019 16:28

agreed with @AdaColeman - the number of threads I read which start "Posting for traffic", then go on to ask "where should I go on holiday for £5k"...

FFS...this board is called Am I Being Unreasonable? So what is your AIBU?

There are literally dozens of such threads per day, things which could easily have gone into Chat, or Travel, or Health, but no - it has to be AIBU.

"Posting for traffic" really means "I'm entitled to more attention for this even though I know it's against the spirit of the board".

fokouembiyemassj · 06/11/2019 16:30

The Aibu to stay single forever because I love my freedom too much anyone else feel like this .

You don't need an audience or followers to feel good about staying single 🙄🙄🙄

MepsiPax · 06/11/2019 16:38

Parking ones.
Am I pregnant/can you see a line? ones.
What's everyone having for tea tonight? who gives a shit

SoftBlocks · 06/11/2019 16:41

Which exclusive school/holiday/handbag should I choose?

Parking

Gender disappointment

koshkat · 06/11/2019 16:48

All the anti- trans stuff. It's absolutely cannibalised the feminist content on here. And (I'm not coming back to debate this so don't bother derailing this thread) I find the discourse shockingly bigoted and nasty. It breaks my heart that LGBTIQ people have to read that crap in an otherwise mainstream and relatively sensible forum.

Never seen any anti-trans stuff on here at all. Lots of pro-woman stuff though which is good to see.

SlightlyStaleCocoPops · 06/11/2019 16:51

Anything moaning about dogs, fat people and non drivers. Zzzzz.

Londonmummy66 · 06/11/2019 16:51

threads containing a grammatical error - so this one..... Sad

SpiderCharlotte · 06/11/2019 16:52

The 'I just don't get ...' following by some bollocks like 'why people feed their children chips/why people don't knit their own tampons/why people like Pandora etc etc. Then the original post is all faux confusion detailing why the OP just doesn't get it.

All they're really trying to day is 'I think I'm fucking awesome and everyone should be exactly like me.'

myself2020 · 06/11/2019 16:56

boycott xyz because „random reason” usually something to do with transphobia/ women are amazing, men are predators

Leighhalfpennysthigh · 06/11/2019 16:58

Anything involving dogs - I don't even have to open them to know that they will involve stories of dogs savaging babies etc.

TheCanterburyWhales · 06/11/2019 17:07

Not in the thread title, but the minute one of the SPaG twats jumps in to point out a missing capital letter. (be interested in hearing why LondonMummy thinks the OP of this thread has a mistake?)
Any thread started by that well-known MNer who thinks she's being funny by slagging off other people's clothes/appearance. We know she does it to wind people up, we've been around almost as long as she has, but fuck me she's tedious.
The "AIBU to tell you about " (usually about something terrible that we might all drop down dead from, except we won't, because we know about it already.
The weird fastest-finger-on-the-buzzer posters who just love being the first to tell us someone famous is dead or some dreadful tragedy has occurred.

TheCanterburyWhales · 06/11/2019 17:10

Pantsville- the funny thing about the M&S slagger-offers is they are the same posters wanging on about Hush- where you give the people 500 yards down the road a) an electric shock with the amount of polyester and b) look like Bet Lynch has been up the market in the leopard skin cardies.
Guess you can't buy class. Wink

nothingcanhurtmewithmyeyesshut · 06/11/2019 17:11

Has anyone gotten bupropion prescribed for depression. NO! You will never get a yes because it isn't FUCKING LICENCED. and breathe.

TheCanterburyWhales · 06/11/2019 17:13

Oh, I forgot the made up CF threads. Clue: if it runs to 4 threads and gets more and more totes hilaire and unbelievable, it probably is.

catwithnohat · 06/11/2019 17:13

Anything to do with disabled parking.... the number of entitled CF who always have a reason for their exceptional need (but for reasons unexplained don't have a blue badge) never ceases to amaze.

Skinnychip · 06/11/2019 17:15
  • What have you eaten today - if i haven't stolen your breakfast/lunch/quinoa salad why the hell would you care?

  • How much do you spend on DC/DH for xmas? Answer as much as i can afford!! If I've got £50 to spend, and a hundred posters reply saying they spend £200 - £500, I'm still going to only gave £50 but feel more shit about it!!

Are they being a CF ? (Usually the answer is yes without even having to read the post)

ByeGermsByeWorries · 06/11/2019 17:19

"I've come into a modest amount of money would you buy another six houses or just four and use the rest on a holiday?"

MolyHolyGuacamole · 06/11/2019 17:19

Any thread on Trans people.

It's always filled with transphobia and lots of people telling you it's NOT transphobic to refuse to call a trans woman a woman. Also to ONLY focus on trans women (the tiresome 'men in women's spaces' brigade) as though trans men don't exist.

SarahNade · 06/11/2019 17:22

Any threads where it is about a monster MIL but it really is a DH problem, and the OP never really does anything about her DH's cowardice, and stays and accepts it while seething inside. Ignoring our advice. What a waste of our time.

XXcstatic · 06/11/2019 17:25

Maybe that's because MN is not in fact transphobic, and realises that you can support trans rights while still being concerned about the impact of men being able to self-ID into women's spaces?
