Just that really and, inspired by another thread, why do so many people dislike him?

Pathological liar. He even lies when it's completely obvious he's lying - look at the Whipps Cross incident. Most MPs say ridiculous meaningless soundbites and fail to answer questions but I don't think there are many others that brazenly lie in the same way as Johnson. Completely untrustworthy and says only exactly what he thinks will be in the best interests of Boris.

Comparing him to Corbyn on this is completely pointless. Corbyn is inflexible, doesn't listen to those who don't agree with him and is an ineffectual leader but I don't list brazen lying amongst his many faults.

Everyone knows BJ is a liar. The trouble is some people think his "charisma" overrides this so they don't care and will vote for him anyway.

Paintedmaypole · 01/11/2019 17:47

I have asked to have the vote taken off as it is confusing. Sounds like if he did get in nobody would be expecting him to actually act on his promises re investing in public services then. He appears to have no morals whatsoever.

TheMarzipanDildo · 01/11/2019 17:47

He has no convictions. Changes with the wind.

I agree with this. I would be very unlikely to ever vote for Corbyn but I don't think he is a pathological liar.

FreyaMountstuart · 01/11/2019 17:56

I agree with what @4cats2kids said!

How anyone can vote for him and his party is unbelievable!

megletthesecond · 01/11/2019 17:58

Of course not.
He's lied to his family and previous employers.

ThanosSavedMe · 01/11/2019 18:00

Do I trust Boris? About as far as I could throw him.

ForalltheSaints · 01/11/2019 18:07

I want a Prime Minister who is loyal to the UK, and most importantly, respects women. Mr Johnson is neither.

I hope the voters of Uxbridge and South Ruislip vote someone else in as their MP.

Ghostontoast · 01/11/2019 18:09

Unprincipled, cheating, lying toerag!

Benjispruce · 01/11/2019 18:10

No, but don’t trust any of them.

recrudescence · 01/11/2019 18:11

Massive nope from me.

BossAssBitch · 01/11/2019 18:16

I don’t trust him, but ABC. He is the best by far of a very, very bad bunch.

We are in scraping the barrel territory.

Out of what is available right now, who is better than Johnson?

Paintedmaypole · 01/11/2019 18:17

DippyAvacado do you think so people find him charismatic? I find that he is energetic in a way but it is all bluster and chaos.I see nothing chaismatic about him.

OP posts:
Actionhasmagic · 01/11/2019 18:21

NO he is an awful human being and no idea what it’s like to be a normal person in society. He’s also not very kind

Actionhasmagic · 01/11/2019 18:22

His own brother doesn’t trust him - what does that tell you?

DippyAvocado · 01/11/2019 18:32

DippyAvacado do you think so people find him charismatic?

I've seen it cited in interviews with voters who like him. It baffles me!

Trottersindependenttraders · 01/11/2019 18:34

Nope, absolutely not. Does anyone? (Genuine question)

HarryElephante · 01/11/2019 18:37

You get the government you deserve. And we have Boris Johnson as PM

Someone was really naughty

HarryElephante · 01/11/2019 18:38

He has no convictions. Changes with the wind

This.

WrongKindOfFace · 01/11/2019 18:39

Put it this way, I trust him so little that if I shook hands with him I’d count my fingers afterwards.

HerculesTheBercules · 01/11/2019 18:41

No, not an inch

noblegiraffe · 01/11/2019 18:41

He lies as easily as he breathes. He’s been filmed doing so!

He treats women appallingly and is a shit father to who knows how many children.

He’s racist.

He’s thin-skinned and a shit politician. Sacked those Tory MPs (Ken Clarke FFS!) for going against him. Not making that speech because of hecklers.

He’s a whiny child - not signing the letter to the EU was petulant and embarrassing.

He had to be hid in a cupboard during the leadership election in case he lost it by saying something outrageous. Who knows how much we’ll see of him this election campaign.

He’s crap in parliament.

He threw the country under a bus (that bus) to further his own career.

He only cares about Boris.

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 01/11/2019 18:44

I don't trust Boris Johnson an inch. Ever. It's true that politicians lie but rarely on the scale he does.

I felt sorry for the Americans having Trump as President. Now I'm ashamed that we've ended up with a PM who's just as dishonest (and with similar attitudes to women). It's dreadful.

SoupDragon · 01/11/2019 18:45

Fuck no. He is a proven liar.

That said, I don't trust Corbyn either.

Which is problematic for the election.

ImGenderfree · 01/11/2019 18:47

No I don’t for too many reasons and his ‘performance’ as Foreign Secretary was appalling.
