Just trying to get the word out on how you can stop the Tories.

tactical.vote

I will vote tactically. My tory mp is lazy and gets voted in, every time.

All of you saying 'get Brexit done', this is just the beginning. We've got decades of this, to end up worse of.

Theworldisfullofgs · 04/11/2019 09:17

*off

Chomalungma Schengen enabled the movement of weapons far too easily for Bataclan. There is some interesting research out there on this.

Having sterling is different from the euro; there are only marginal tax differences in the UK. You won't find the price differentials on the same item in the UK, that you find between Belgium and Germany. Those Germans who get posted to Belgium are shocked at how much more expensive it is in Belgium.

I suppose on borders it depends whether you value security over trade and movement of goods and Labour. I prefer the former.

NoNewsisGood · 04/11/2019 09:25

Lols at people who say they were remainers but will vote Tories to respect 'democracy' which in their mind is the advisory referendum a few GEs ago, not the current GE. Have seen this on other social media and now here. I would like to vote for any party willing to properly fund the education system in the UK so that it would also include teaching on politics and economics (including classes for parents!).

JD2018May · 04/11/2019 09:37

I didn't know all that about Gina Miller but I do think she has done more to try to defend democracy than most other people whose responsibility that is, (like the govt). As for the impatience I can see here to 'get Brexit done' - Brexit of any kind would be a slow, messy process, with all of us paying the price, but a no-deal Brexit would be the slowest car crash, so you really shouldn't look for that as an end to anything - the trouble would be just beginning.

andyoldlabour · 04/11/2019 10:10

For the first time in my life, I will vote Tory, mainly because I want to see democracy respected, and also because I cannot see Jeremy Corbyn leading the country.
Those people who are going to vote for Jo Swinson and the Lib Dems should first look at her voting record in parliament.
She is pro war, against benefit increases for the disabled, for the increase of tuition fees, against helping young people in work, against increasing taxes for people earning over £150K. Almost always voted for increases in VAT. Voted against a banker's bonus tax, against greater regulation in gambling

Theworldisfullofgs · 04/11/2019 12:52

But you are happy voting tory, given their record Hmm

DuckWillow · 04/11/2019 12:55

Voting Labour and don’t give a fuck. The Tories have utterly screwed the people of this country and too many of you are happy to see more of the same. Idiots.

DuckWillow · 04/11/2019 12:59

andyoldlabour the fucking irony of you voting Tory while dismissing Jo Swinson’s voting record. Oh dear....voting for the policies you are angry with Jo Swinson for.

Perhaps you should read about the Tories before casting your vote. What an idiot.

underneaththeash · 04/11/2019 13:09

DuckWillow and how will voting in a bigoted marxist help anyone?

Theworldisfullofgs · 04/11/2019 14:06

Could someone explain how its undemocratic to have more democracy?

DuckWillow · 04/11/2019 17:27

Put down the Tory led media underneaththeleash and try some critical thinking.

Not a great fan of Corbyn but when the chips are down I know who would have my back and it isn’t the Tories.

I vote Labour for people like my disabled son who has seen cuts to so many services which should support him. All cuts approved by the self serving Tories.

Personally I think anyone working class (and I include in that EVERYONE who HAS to work to pay bills....so most people) is beyond stupid if they vote Tory, they wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire. You are Turkeys voting for Christmas and the media led by Tory supporting billionaires understand that most of you are too stupid to think about what you read and hear and they have a field day with that, personally I am able to think more critically, perhaps because I see the effects of austerity.

I’m not mad keen on the alternatives but I can at least see the irony of someone voting Tory “because the LibDems voted against disability benefit rises”.

Yep along with most Tories....but andyoldlabour will vote for them anyway because he doesn’t want Corbyn in.

Beyond stupid.

Oliversmumsarmy · 04/11/2019 17:34

Not a great fan of Corbyn but when the chips are down I know who would have my back and it isn’t the Tories

For me it isn’t Corbyn who would put me out of business

HeresMe · 04/11/2019 20:07

Corbyn would watch your back, are you sure he will have to ask momentum first.

Hes such a fence sitter its annoying.

SusieOwl4 · 04/11/2019 20:18

hmm so what she said on question time was not true then. She just said that she wanted to make sure any government - whichever one it was did everything legally ? Nothing about tactical voting . She is as bad as the politicians she is criticising then .

SusieOwl4 · 04/11/2019 20:19

Corbyn will have your back until you work hard and become successful and employ others - then you will be part of the "elite" and he will bring you down .

SusieOwl4 · 04/11/2019 20:24

@DuckWillow I think we can all have discussions without calling peoples opinions stupid. And you should remember why we had austerity in the first place . We have the highest employment rate for years and I am sure there will be people that will be grateful for that . Of course things are not perfect and personally as I have family with various severe health problems I hope that things will change - but if the country is bankrupt that change is not even an option .

Ravingstarfish · 04/11/2019 20:26

I’ve always voted labour but I’m quite taken with Boris Johnson, he gets my vote and can get brexit done.

Theworldisfullofgs · 04/11/2019 20:27

Austerity was an ideology and shrunk the economy

The highest employment rate is smoke and mirrors - it's called the gog economy.

Theworldisfullofgs · 04/11/2019 20:27

Gig economy.
