To think Piers Morgan publicly bullying a woman is not setting a good example to young people?

Thankfully I don't watch much he's on, but on the occasions I have had the misfortune to, I find him an over-bearing, narcissistic arse.

Why is it OK for him to continually be on our screens bullying an adult female?

Who is the adult female he's bullying, OP? Can you please elaborate?

Pieceofpurplesky · 23/10/2019 00:18

He's been very quiet about the whole Prince Andrew thing - maybe he is deflecting by keeping the attention on more royals ...

BanKittenHeels · 23/10/2019 00:19

Who?
What?
Why?
Where?
When?

Hmm, interesting ...

@Pieceofpurplesky. Do you mean he may be (allegedly) implicated in some way? Odious little man.

Piers argues with anyone over anything. That’s his modus operandi. It’s also why he’s such a popular “personality”.

MrGsFancyNewVagina · 23/10/2019 00:30

I never used like him, well actually I still don’t like him, but his recent comments were a joy. He just cut through the bullshite.

Pieceofpurplesky · 23/10/2019 00:30

It was on the dispatches programme last night according to Twitter.

Pieceofpurplesky · 23/10/2019 00:31

And today he has been very vocal about Meghan to deflect interest I guess

pikapikachu · 23/10/2019 00:31

I do t think he's bullying Meghan and think that he's equally "rude" to males and females tbh.
I think it's natural to not like someone who's sucking up to you one minute then ghosts you because of her new bf.

pikapikachu · 23/10/2019 00:33

I think that all UK journalists are wary of criticising the RF without proof. The recent William allegations being reported by American tabloids rather than UK ones speak volumes to me.

Grandmi · 23/10/2019 00:37

Pikapichu ...he is definitely bullying her ..he should be ashamed of how awful he has been..he actually comes across as a pathetic loser with absolutely no credibility!!

TerfTalk · 23/10/2019 00:39

Oh yes, he’s vile to MM. He comes across as quite bitter. They only met once!

Bahhhhhumbug · 23/10/2019 00:44

Who is he bullying? MM or somebody else. Couldn't this have been included in OP title?

MorganKitten · 23/10/2019 00:45

He’s been vile for the 20 years he’s been ‘famous’, from having paps stalk famous people with their kids, faking pow photos and being a general dick head.

EmeraldShamrock · 23/10/2019 00:48

Yanbu. He is a dickhead.

blubelle7 · 23/10/2019 05:25

@pikapikachu you are right

I completely dismissed the William rumours because it was only in the American tabloids (who honestly print anything), but not even one UK rag ran with the story.

When you put it like that given all the ridiculous stories the UK tabloids are willing to run(that would have been a big exclusive) 2they must be some truth to their stories or they must have some source willing to stand the scrutiny should it go wrong. Why on earth wouldn't the UK tabloids run with the William story if true? It would have also distracted from the Andrew saga.

I think the Sussexes have been criticised legitimately although her family has used the press to be vicious to her but I blame her family more than the journalists doing their job. Also like a press member said yesterday -if the Sussexes are going to start this game of picking apart stories and saying this is not true or not technically true they open themselves up to having to confirm which bits are true even if they show them in a harmful light and that may not be want they want. They can't have the press censored to only write positively about them but baulk when they receive deserved criticism as in the jet setting saga. They have to accept a balance which personally I think our press is fair.

I get Piers telling his story a couple of times but after that it starts.to reek of bitterness. It also is his right to bring it up as it was his experience and we are all allowed to talk about the things that happened to us. His continual referral to it however does not put him in a good light.

GPatz · 23/10/2019 06:54

The man is an utterly revolting hypocrite. How he had any supporters is beyond me.

SarahNade · 23/10/2019 07:16

I shouldn't have thought it was needed to say who it is about, most people know by now, surely, or some are trying to be funny. He very much so is a bully. And she never 'ghosted' him, she met him ONCE. If you've only ever just met someone only once, there is nothing to ghost, is there? There is no relationship, professional or personal. They don't even qualify as acquaintances. How does one ghost someone they only met once in their life?

WobblyLondoner · 23/10/2019 07:44

I've no idea who he's supposed to be bullying and I'm not trying to be funny. Can someone just say?!

nestisflown · 23/10/2019 07:52

I never used like him, well actually I still don’t like him, but his recent comments were a joy. He just cut through the bullshite

@MrGsFancyNewVagina No he's never been "a joy". Piers Morgan is my litmus test, if I ever find myself agreeing with him it means it's time to back away from ironically reading the daily mail. Alarm bells should be ringing internally that you are enjoying that disgusting man rip into people- the man who thought it fine to hack a dead girl's phone, and continually defends Trump.

Piers has no morals, he either recognises someone as friend or non friend - if they're his friend he'll defend them for things he has criticised others for. If they're not his friend, and God forbid like Meghan they went for dinner with him and decided they didn't want to repeat such punishment, then he'll tear them apart. He has no morals and if you're enjoying that, then look hard at yourself. He's the worst.

nestisflown · 23/10/2019 07:54

@blubelle7
How naive...ever heard of an injunction? Or a super injunction is more likely here given that the papers haven't even reported of the existence of an injunction. The same reason the US reported extensively on the David Furnish affair that everyone knew about but UK papers were silent.

Lofari · 23/10/2019 07:56

I sometimes find his lack of filter refreshing.

SarahNade · 23/10/2019 07:56

@WobblyLondoner Meghan Markle.

SarahNade · 23/10/2019 07:59

@MrGsFancyNewVagina No, recently he has been spewing pure bullshit, not cutting through it. He has been lying and been far worse than ever recently with the bullshit he spews.
