Doesn’t matter that she is an actress and I hate how much that comes up because people say it as if she was leading a Hollywood life. She spent most of her time in Canada filming for Suits. She did side jobs as an actress like most actors do.
I bet the same people that use the actress excuse are the same people who said Harry should have married one of his exes ignoring the fact that one of them was an actress and they broke up with Harry so they wouldn’t have to go through the st that Meghan endures now.
It’s a wonder if there would have been anyone good enough for Harry that the tabloids wouldn’t have ripped apart. It says more about society that people buy into this and support this crap that the media is able to continue because it sells papers.
All this. Well said... People act like because she's an actress (and was famous before she met Harry,) she somehow deserves the vitriol. Just because someone is famous, that doesn't mean they have no feelings! Meghan is human, and she feels hurt and pain, and the press are being VILE to her. (And not very nice to Harry!)

Absolutely correct phoenix. Every woman who marries into the RF gets trashed by the tabloids, nobody is good enough for them and the vicious courtiers who are as jealous of access to 'their' royals as any rejected lover. Princess Michael used to get dreadful abuse. "Well, she's forrin, you know". Fergie, Camilla, Kate. Entrenched misogyny. Revolting, especially going hand in hand with the creepy smarming the tabloids cough up when they get an interview with any of them. Can you imagine Piers Morgan "yes Ma'aming" all over the poor Queen? Shudder.
Yep, this also. Excellent points! Pisses me right off. I just hope Meghan (and Harry) can weather it and push through, and ignore the hate and vitriol as much as possible.
I wish them all the best.
